Foam rollers (yours looks so nice!) were non-existent for me back when I was dancing. For the over-split we used a sturdy chair set against the wall or the lower barre! And for rolling out leg muscles there was an old tennis ball of mysterious origin usually shared amongst groups of friends, for the arch some actually used old golf balls, usually from a dad or granddad.

At the end of the video at 20:02 what were you feeling with your heart when you said that made you feel like your heart stopp at 20:10? 😮 I hope you always take time to see your doctor when you feel anything unusual with your body to be on the safe side. Anything cardiovascular is not to brushed aside.🙏🏿 Keep well.

Sore calves usually meant sitting out that class/practice session for me. Full credit for doing as much as you can anyway!
My ballet bag was tiny compared to what you have now. It just needed to hold my wallet (no phones back then-so ancient!), my character skirt, my wrap skirt, hair pins and extra hair ties and two pairs of shoes (usually pointe and character) because I would be wearing the pair I would warm up and start the class in (either soft shoes - leather was the only option available back then, or demi-pointe shoes) - under oversized slides
