To then add in Ride of the Valkyries after Hall of the Mountain King....makes me chuckle every time. They had such fun with this. Love them all! Way to go gents!
Clever, this is a beautiful Organ and I so glad these men know how to play it and get the most out of it. Wonderful, just wonderful. We wish more churches would use the Pipe Organ to the glory of God like this.
Fact 1: two additional compressors had to be installed on the organ for this performance. Fact 2: the ambient air pressure in the temple increased by 66% during this performance.
I WAS RIGHT!!! I teased Brother Rick about the title when the preview of the DVD came out... I guessed "We Three Kings of ORGAN Are"!!! Now I've seen all three at once! Very special since Brother Clay will be retiring after General Conference in April. I liked how Brothers Andrew and Clay "asked" to play:-D. My biggest giggle was when Brother Andrew tapped Rick on his shoulder to change places- the look on his face was like, "Uh, no brother... you WROTE this, you PLAY it!" And thanks to the editing team: BRAVO for letting the audience's appreciation be shown! Wonderful as usual... when you love what you do (and who you're TRULY doing it for) it shows. Be in attendance this year... wonder how on EARTH do you top a TRIO?!?
He hasn't said as of yet but, if you check the schedule for who's doing the noon recital at the Tabernacle and Conference Centre, you might just get to ask him yourself! He always comes back for a "meet and greet" after his recitals. Currently the choir and orchestra are on tour so he may have written himself out of the programs for the month.
I can place "Hall of the Mountain King" and "Ride of the Valkyrie" does anyone one know what that first piece they're riffing off of is called? Please help. Not knowing is seriously bugging me.

This is amazing, how in sync they are. Lovely. The 3 kings!!! Bravo
The “King of Instruments “ being played by three “kings”! I loved this.
A Purvis student here . . This is purely and utterly, one of the most fun and brilliant things I've ever seen!!!!
Beautiful 💫
Brings back memories of every sunday my mother would have the program on TV and we would all enjoy the music which has only improved over the years.
A real mastery of high culture instrumental musical compilations. Thank you. Merry Christmas.
Oh, what a dear treasure you have! Blessings this Holiday Season! Thank you for this wonderful trio!

Saw this live last year at this concert. Sounds even better with the live organ blasting my ears .
Live attendance is always better than listening to recordings. You can feel the bass
WOW. I've never seen such a performance before. I love the Christmas production that the MTC does. Always top notch.

Just amazing
I can Understand how Several People Can Play this Thing.
Amazing!
Love the CTR ring on Clay's finger
This is amazing
This is seriously so amazing!!
It's not every day one comes across a Pedal to Swell coupler, let alone for a competent organist to have a real need for its use.
99.999% of the people don’t even get their hands on a pipe organ console ever 😛
bravo Bravo bravo
Had to laugh when "The Halls of the Mountain King" popped up as a bridge between choruses - but it worked :-D!
Didn't we all?:-D
Or the Ride of the Valkyries!

Is this true? Clay is retiring?
Badyn Woodford
I confirmed it with Clay- his last broadcast will be Easter Sunday with a retirement date of 30 April.
Thanks! Have you any clue if Dr. Elliott is publishing this piece? I'm making a visit to play the Tabernacle & Conference Center organs in July.

To fanagle 2 organists into a console for a 4-hand/feet duet is hard enough -- let alone 3. Amazing job to Drs. Elliott, Unsworth, & Christiansen.
All are DMA's:-)
What's dma"
A DMA is a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree.
Yes
Awesome and funny!!!
aaahhahah brilliant and fun!
variations on a theme. well done.

Nice to see the guys get a little silly!
Hmmm I need to grow some more arms for Christmas I cant manage with only 2!
That is insane.
They all have rings on
I know basic music theory. They just blew my music theory to kingdom come
Yeah, so do i. seems Richard Elliots arrangements will make you have to scratch your brain. But he's GOOD!
The original Piano Guys
Swell!!
Does anybody know if there is sheet music for this? or even what key it's played in?? THANKS!!!
I can place "Hall of the Mountain King" and "Ride of the Valkyrie" does anyone one know what that first piece they're riffing off of is called? Please help. Not knowing is seriously bugging me.
glenn Winn sounds like a generic jazzy vamp, but it’s closest to Take Five by Paul Desmond
For me, the amazing thing is the awful number of buttons that organ has and the use they could have. On the other hand, how old is this instrument?
Most of the pipes are original pipes and come from pioneer times. The organ console is only a few years old.
It's slightly over 27 years old. The one the other person is talking about is in a different building.
When will we have such a Conference Center in Brazil?
you should have had someone else come in to play the pedals
That’d be tricky because everyone else’s legs would be in the way. The Pedal to Swell coupler was used, so the pedal sound was still there
It's a huge instrument, it would be foolish for a single man to play it
I feel the spirit of God playing...
😅😅😀😀😀😀😀
Sweet. One of them looks like Bill Nye the Science Guy...
It's like an octopus playing the organ
3 Kings now go interstellar.
Malabarismos
¡Al circo!
Wow, three big egos in this performance! HA!
