Hey Russ. I took a tumble today trying to ride up a short, very steep path at one of our parks here at our lake. I tell ya, my gloves and helmet really saved me. I was almost at the top and couldn’t make and had to try and stop and get off my bike on a steep incline. I have a big goose egg on my right elbow and two big scrapes on my left shin. Fortunately I carry a first aid kit. Also my bike was okay and I was able to ride a mile home.
I have the haoqi black leopard. 600 miles on it now with no problems. Prolly 50% paved trails and 50% dirt trails. The motor has did that stutter thing a few times but other than that a good bike.
Glad to see more bikes coming with turn signals now. Likes include the signals (except they need to be better), the center stand, the dual batteries, the horn, and the large basket. 25mph is fast enough on a bike like that for me. Dislikes include motor hesitation, the skinny seat post, the location where the headlight is mounted, and inadequate rear seat post suspension. What I would really like is adjustable rear suspension so the cargo gets some cushioning too. (roads are rough where I live)
I really like the 48V 27.8AH dual batteries feature, extends the range significantly. Sharp looking cargo ebike to add to your fleet. It's perfect for the run to the grocery store! Just wondering if Mrs.Right picked out any grocery items for you though, and/or you just played the security guard to the ebikes outside the store. Keep riding Russ.
Pretty much learned if the handle bars are not swept back I'm not looking at the bike. Do not like the "stick" handle bars. Don't like the pressure on my arms. But yeah, the big basket makes is a true cargo bike.
Before changing your seatpost try one of your bigger seats. The one supplied looks a little thin as was mine and changing the seat gave me an additional 1.5- 2" which solved my similar problem.
Thank you for the video. Something was not clear though. When you said maximum weight limit of 450 lbs is that just the payload or the payload and the rider? I can't believe it could hold a 450 lb payload plus a 330 lbs rider. Thanks
I wonder about this as well! I've mentioned before on other videos that I don't go begging for bikes to review. In the early days of when I started out with ebikes, I asked a few companies if they would be interested in sending me a bike to review. Never heard back from any of them. So I figured the best way would be to wait and see if any companies would just contact me instead of me contacting them. To date, probably over 140 companies have asked me to review their ebikes! I have only taken on a handful of them and many of the bikes I have come from the same company. I just decided that if they want my help to advertise their bikes, they will come to me and that's how it's always been. Now recently, my viewers had contacted the Wired company and asked them to send me a bike to review. While I have yet to get the bike (they are still on their way to the USA), I was assured I will get one when it arrives. It's the only bike I did not get asked to review, but instead the viewers have asked the company to send me a bike to review. So there you have it. I just wait to see if companies want my help and then I choose which I will review on the channel. Thanks for your question.
I am not a doctor, but if I had to take an educated guess, my answer would be yes. I always had more pain riding with the saddle lower. Both of my knees had torn meniscuses that were operated on, but prior to that, I always felt more pain when the saddle was improperly adjusted for extension.
Looking at the size of the basket and how much space is available on the rack, I wonder if it is possible the basket can be mounted differently. Turned about 90 degrees?
Actually, I think the "Chee" portion of the word is probably closer to be pronounced with a "T" sound in front of it... but I know that is hard for Americans to say, so I just say "How Chee". Makes it easier for everyone concerned.
Not really. I have just been mentioning them on my UA-cam channel. It many people do be use Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. Try to meet people at someplace like your local police department parking lot (call to be sure they allow this). It is never safe to have them come to your home.
Did not buy from this seller on AliExpress, but this is basically the same bell. I actually do some local deliveries on my Ebke at work. Nothing far just around town and its fun. With this heatwave I won't be making any deliveries sadly.
I won't get up early enough to take a cool ride in this heat wave in SE Michigan. I did some gardening from 8 to 9 this morning and was sweating bullets.
Looks like a bike designed for city delivery riders. It's really well thought out.

Sorry you took a tumble but glad you are not overly hurt. Yes, the gloves and helmet do help. Heal up and get back out there when you are able.
@@RussIsRight Thank you. I am a bit sore today, that is for sure.

That big basket is cool! It's a cargo bike! It will carry a lot of fish! 🤔🤣😂

Cool bike. Thanks for letting us know how to properly pronounce the name. It is not easy sometimes. I love the fat tires and fat fenders.
Some names are definitely tough!
You're ok! I was beginning to worry about you guys when i saw no video yesterday. So glad you all are ok 🙂
Father's Day weekend... lots to do! 😊

Nah, she buys her own stuff and I buy my own.

Nice looking cargo bike. Perhaps room for a small doggie in the cargo basket. Great review 👍
Looks beautiful out there on the trail.

450 lbs including the rider, but they really would rather see only 400 lbs if possible.
I prefer to call it "The Hokey Pokey" Wouldn't the basket be better off installed lengthwise?
The screw holes are aligned such that it can only go on the way it is in the video.
Great review!
Hi Russ, How do you get chosen to advertise different ebike? ❤ please share thank you

Medical question: Will riding with the saddle too low eventually cause you to have knee damage vs riding with full leg extension?
I am not a doctor, but if I had to take an educated guess, my answer would be yes. I always had more pain riding with the saddle lower. Both of my knees had torn meniscuses that were operated on, but prior to that, I always felt more pain when the saddle was improperly adjusted for extension.
I cannot find the video you made on its range, very interested in knowing that
Never made one on the range.
Looking at the size of the basket and how much space is available on the rack, I wonder if it is possible the basket can be mounted differently. Turned about 90 degrees?
Sadly, the orientation that it is in is the only way the mounting holes will fit the basket.
How-Chee i think would be pronounced or Ouchy 😆.. Looks a pretty neat bike, 27.8ah in total is good.

You should test the bike with a load in the basket.
I have taken it on several grocery runs already. Does well.
Any tips for selling e-bikes? Struggling to sell my old bike on marketplace

Your link takes me to the 500 watt bike. You said this is a 750 watt motor. What is going on?
Thanks for letting me know. I have corrected it so that it goes to the main Haoqi page instead.
Hey, can I get a link to that bell please?
