Everyone is so focused on the bass, lead guitar, drums, and lead singer, and with good reason. They're out front and they are awesome+, but if it wasn't for Miku filling out Band-maid's sound with her rhythmic licks and backing vocals, that distinct Band-Maid sound wouldn't exist. Forgive me if I contradict but Band-Maid was also cool in 2013 when they where founded and Miku could not play the guitar. It was the idea of Kanami to teach her guitar playing and that a rythm guitar would improve their sound and she did a great job. The guitar skills of Miku raise constantly she is very disciplined and works hard to improve them. But their biggest merit is to have founded this band and found these four other great musicians. I will always be grateful to her.
@@Medley3000Agreed, they sounded great in 2013, but that sound has matured as the years have progressed, so not really a contradiction. Remove Miku's guitar and vocals at this point and you lose part of what creates that wall of sound that has developed as Miku has become more skilled and comfortable with her instrument and vocals. This also frees Kanami to do a lot more improvisation, and she has taken full advantage of it.

Miku has a 36hrs daytime if you ask me. She is promoting the band like no other. And each time she is full of energy and always happy. Got to say, those girls stay the same - them selves - all-out. Not one head is up in the air. Saiki is taking her part serious too as she says she sees herself more as the leader (and thus no more Akane as leader as they first said she would). Anyhow, let them be this way, let them stay this way so we all can be close to them and have a good chit-chat while they sign the gifts to us. Oh yes, and we can still get gifts to them.
Domination is such a banger anyways, and then they bring in a full-on throwdown in the middle of it... how the roof stayed on that joint is an absolute mystery to me.

You say Akane and Miku good enough, but one correction is that Kanami writes most of the songs, and Miku helps with lyrics. Saiki also started helping with lyrics a while back. Watching the "in band jokes" of the official video is funny as hell. The look MISA gives when they walk into the ballroom is hysterical. she looks like she wants to burn the place to the ground.
Can't wait for my live DVD from Japan in April and it will back to London last year. I doubt we will see them here this year now. I will have to try and go to Budokan in Feb next year. You find that you have to travel to see Japanese bands, it is part of being a fan.
Next up you should really do Puzzle Live, less in your face rock but Kanami is pretty much solo'ing the entire song and Saiki is barely taking a breath. After that, definitely Freedom or Rock in Me - two live tracks that really show off how much fun they have playing!
Need to check out Band-Maid's new upload, the live version of Domination from their 2-14-2020 show. Also, should give a listen to Asterism, an instrumental group from Fukuoka, I believe. Try the song Rising Moon; in the video from about two years ago, the whole band is still in high school. Today, the guitarist is in her last year of school, I believe. Or, maybe her junior year.
There's a new version of Domination that's really sick!! Not sure if you've done Take Me Higher or Choose Me. Those are badass as well. Of course the list of Band-Maid songs that aren't badass would basically be a blank sheet. They can kick your ass in extremely diversified ways.
Oh you're an absolute classic Mr RnR. The most entertaining reactor on The Tube. You don't have to say anything to get the message across. Yes The Maids are the real deal and this song shows it. Kanami on lead guitar is a stunning composer of great creative well structured material. 3 to 4 minute masterpieces perfect for commercialisation. Look at their latest in Manners to get another creative dimension with Miku's sinister side,screaming and sliding. Saiki's vocal is strikingly powerful and the end of the final chorus is something to behold. Akane and Misa are as strong and creative as ever with no verse or chorus played the same. Misa's use of the lower frets and Akane's diverse fills and rolls. Its a great and best song on their new album Unseen World released this week. Many of the tracks are fast and frenetic. Akane's speed is amazing.

Suggestions: Puzzle, Rinne (reincarnation) and ofcouorse more from that taped show most fans now also have on DVD or Blue Ray. Can't wait for my live DVD from Japan in April and it will back to London last year. I doubt we will see them here this year now. I will have to try and go to Budokan in Feb next year. You find that you have to travel to see Japanese bands, it is part of being a fan.
They have done sold out shows in LA and Dallas,some time ago. If they come to Atlanta,I will be there-using my canes or walker,whatever it takes.

Next up you should really do Puzzle Live, less in your face rock but Kanami is pretty much solo'ing the entire song and Saiki is barely taking a breath.

Also, should give a listen to Asterism, an instrumental group from Fukuoka, I believe. Try the song Rising Moon; in the video from about two years ago, the whole band is still in high school. Today, the guitarist is in her last year of school, I believe. Or, maybe her junior year.

There's a new version of Domination that's really sick!! Not sure if you've done Take Me Higher or Choose Me. Those are badass as well. Of course the list of Band-Maid songs that aren't badass would basically be a blank sheet. They can kick your ass in extremely diversified ways.
Gotta check out the newest video, Domination, that was released from the upcoming Bluray/DVD coming out in April. You'll absolutely love it!

Oh you're an absolute classic Mr RnR. The most entertaining reactor on The Tube. You don't have to say anything to get the message across. Yes The Maids are the real deal and this song shows it. Kanami on lead guitar is a stunning composer of great creative well structured material. 3 to 4 minute masterpieces perfect for commercialisation. Look at their latest in Manners to get another creative dimension with Miku's sinister side,screaming and sliding. Saiki's vocal is strikingly powerful and the end of the final chorus is something to behold. Akane and Misa are as strong and creative as ever with no verse or chorus played the same. Misa's use of the lower frets and Akane's diverse fills and rolls. Its a great and best song on their new album Unseen World released this week. Many of the tracks are fast and frenetic. Akane's speed is amazing.

Dude, Misa and Kanami are amongst the best, no... THEY ARE the best on the bass and guitar. Kanami is an awesome songwriter.
Suggestions: Puzzle, Rinne (reincarnation) and ofcouorse more from that taped show most fans now also have on DVD or Blue Ray.
And to be honest, I am with much patients waiting what Kanami comes up with during this Corona period because she is at home writing her fingers blue.
