Let's not forget the fact that Jax would most definitely never cheer up anyone let alone with a song
And probably also because around ep 2 and 3 she has grown to be more understanding of the characters, and probably try to cheer them up when she can. I can see her trying to communicate with a character depending on what type of comfort they need.
Jax on the other hand… if he took the lead for Loser Baby, it would never get past the vibe of the first half -which is roasting the shit out of someone.

This is the first version I watched AFTER I checked out Hazbin Hotel. Knowing the context of boh shows made me enjoy it even more.
In the pilot, Jax outright says they've all been stuck for years. He's probably saying it in months to make it easier to cope with.
Also, when they both sing about being trapped, Jax has rope around him, but Pomni doesn't. Is that a reference to episode 3? XD
Some details you may have missed, on 8:41, is the top of the billboard shows the main cast.
The jester hat all the way on the left is Pomni. The chess piece is Kinger. The hat and cain is Caine. The comedy and tragedy mask is Gangle. The button eye on the tragedy mask is Ragatha. You can clearly see Zooble’s head. And the rabbit ears next to Zooble is Jax.
This IS my favorite song from Hazbin Hotel. I love Keith David, and it just sounds great. I can't wait to see what more will come of the show. ❤
