However what makes Rumple so, so interesting to a hero or even villains, he does it for others he falls because no one else will, to go to that abyss that everyone flinches at. He's seen it once before , the moment he lost Bael, and so it gets easier. Then the moment he is able to rise, he does it unflinchingly, when it could be SO easy to fall again. He saves everyone, all the while having not fully redeemed himself until it takes the ultimate sacrifice and for one of his most hated rivals, even. That's why i enjoy Rumple....he's an example of the human condition and the struggle of having a power that corrupts absolutely and is STILL able to overcome it.
