They were down 0-3 in a series to Utah and nobody, including most of the players on the team, had any confidence they could come back. As they ran out of the tunnel, instead of going along with the “One, two, three … Lakers!” team cheer, Van Excel said “One, two, three … Cancun!”. It has since been associated with NBA players getting bounced from the playoffs, looking forward to the offseason, etc. The "Gone Fishin'” segment on TNT has kept it alive.

Can't work on the plays, chemistry, or new concepts mid season because of the busy schedule and lack of practices. Learning a new system with a new coach mid season with no practices is like trying to operate a plane without getting a chance to take pilot lessons. People who actually watch the Bucks understand that despite the record, the Bucks were clearly a more organized and capable team under Doc than Griffin who had the entire team confused with their roles on both ends of the court. Doc didn't even have the staff of his choice and preference. Also ignoring health as a factor is braindead behavior. You think the Nuggets get past the first round with Jokic, Murray, and MPJ injured? No, but you're all slow so you don't consider that. Dame got traded near the beginning of training camp as well so he was, admittedly out of shape mid season which lead to inconsistent play throughout the year and during the long minutes of a game. Rarely had a fully healthy squad under Doc too. Despite that when all the starters were healthy, they had the best five man lineup net rating in the NBA and a top 3 record against the best teams in the NBA. I'm not delusional, you guys are dismissive and ignorant. Watch next year. They'll contend with the Celtics, Nuggets, etc. You guys are casuals who don't actually watch the game and know basketball. The only adjustments that might be necessary is athletics at the center position, point of attack defender, and some bench changes. Main core is fantastic tho

Is Gianni’s really injury prone? He’s had a pretty healthy career so far when you compare him to other stars. Like how much more durable could he be? Zion is injury prone, Kristaps is injury prone, Anthony Davis is too, but calling Giannis injury prone seems like a huge stretch

But there's no guarantee they'll reach finals. Dame will be 34 this year, lopez is 36, kris will be 33. The players around giannis are old. I juat dont think they'll pass 2nd round even if they healthy next year.
