- In this video I review the Adidas Clarks Kith 8th Street Sambas. After waiting 6 months for my pre-order, the sneakers have finally arrived. These shoes feature a suede upper from an Adidas Samba combined with the crepe outsole of a Clarks Wallabees. An unexpected collab, this idea came from Ronnie Fieg, Creative Director at Kith. Grabbed both the white and green pairs and so happy to have them in hand and on feet. So comfy and yet different than everything else. Def top 3 sneaker of year!
Agree on everything you said - these are awesome. I went with the Cream/Green colorway. Fit great true to size, look great with whatever. Good call on the white lace swap in these, the contrast looks great. Nice review!

Can you give me a sizing comparison to NB 990v3 or NB 990v4 for example? I am a US 9.5 in those. Never tried a Samba but i am a 9.5 in Stan Smiths. Any thoughts?
I feel like sambas are cool because they are affordable. For the cost of this shoe you could buy 4 pairs of normal black sambas with the gum bottom. The premium is just too high for me. It's a dope shoe though. I actually just bought some penny loafers with the same sole.
I got the white pair and it surpassed all my expectations. By far the best sneaker of the year for me! I on the other hand regret not getting the green pair (as my second pair) 🙄

And the best part for me is: in spite of all that paper, as soon as you take off the lid, you can already smell it and you know it’s good. 😍

I love mine! I got the brown one because it’s the one that least looks like a Samba. But like you, I regret not getting at least one other colorway. These are not just comfy for a Samba, they’re comfy, period! 😍 and even with my wide feet, I fit in these true to size. I was so relieved when I tried them on and they fit perfectly. These are hands-down sneaker of the year for me, especially since for me, sneaker of the year has to be reasonably accessible.

@@JoshDominici used US 8 Samba RM for 5 years and still feeling to tight. I used Yeezy US 9 and feeling more comfortable, same also with my Stan smith at US 8.5 also comfortable. Should i use US 8.5 for this Samba Clarks RF?

This is so worth it and future sneaker for me when i reach the age of 28 going 30 and above: Right now I would enjoy other sneakers that I would be cringe to wear when i got to that certain age.
you are not supposed to get dull and boring once you hit 30 , wear whatever you want whenever you want
@@JoshDominic sorry i just seen this, 28 going 30 and hitting 30 are two different things, even tho it’s just 2yrs style maturity preference are very different. As of now i can rock even lightning mcqueen crocs, but we all know for a fact it would be real cringy to most ppl seeing that to a person around 30 or up.
Clarks wallabees come with just as much oaoer so ut definitely makes sense
Hey is the bottom of the sole different than the side walls? Wondering if they did it that way for resole-ing purposes for when it turns too black or worn down and needs a repair
Looks the same, but it does get super dirty after 1 wear

Love my green/white ones! These are crazy quiet and stealthy!!! Only thing is the bottom gets dirty easy. Crazy comfortable, no need to break in, with Clark materials the quality and built, these are absolutely top tier.

I’ve got some weird feet i wear 9.5 on normal sabas and the same on aj1 but at dunks i wear a 9 what size should i grab???

Dude I got my white pair and it exceeded all my expectations. I was doubtful of the 210 retail price but the quality is very premium and they look good with anything, this is what sneaker of the year contenders should be like

My only problem with sambas is how slim they are and with these it looks like my problem is fixed! Too sad prices are high im gonna have to think if ill cop or not but I absolutely love these and love how u styled them.
Yes these are not as slim as regular sambas
I don’t fit in Sambas either, so when they opened these for pre-order, I took my chance. Even consulted this man Josh Dominic himself on the probable sizing. Now we can all only wish they open these for pre-order again!

Kith branding only adds $100 to this overhyped shoe. If this was a Adidas/Clarks collab, it would be $150 max. So overhyped
No it’s not because of kith branding it’s because the shoe is made using high quality materials and has a completely different production process than other sneakers
