Thank you so mutch for your kindness. But i found some dryer sheets on ebay. So i am going to order from there. But i really have to say that i am glad there are people like you in this world. Thank you for being you :-)
Thank you so much for being straight to the point and not wasting a lot of time. I appreciate that! I was watching another video and 5 minutes in the person was only about 1/3 through the tutorial (same method). Aint nobody got time for that! THANK YOU!
You are always so fun to listen to!! Yes, this card is the Bomb!! :) I absolutely love it!! I still can't believe how easy it is! Thanks for sharing! :)
Wow, That's the most beautiful card I ever seen. Never even realize about the bounce sheet that works for the glitter. Awesome video and Thanks for sharing. :)
TFS - WOW. I love. love love this idea. Quick, easy and gorgeous. And to think i have spent way too much time and labor on my Christmas cards.I am seriously going to do this.
Tami... Good Morning and thank you so much for your response. I've taken notes from the tutorial (video) and this evening will start with this card for those on my card list out of state. You've got a couple that I watch over and over. Then I practice until I get it. Thanks again.... Hugs 'N Blessings
Tami, The card is unique and beautiful. I am definitely giving it a try for my Christmas card list. Thank you for bringing this lovely technique to video instruction. I can hardly wait to get started.
You're very welcome. :) I never thought about the dryer sheet. I always put the glue on the card than glitters on it... but this one, that's a GREAT idea!! :) Keep it up ur hard work. I enjoy watching ur videos. :)
Thank you! You can't really see the "texture and softness" the dryer sheet adds in video, but in person it's a wow. And the fact that the dryer sheet has "holes" makes the spray of adhesive on the back also slightly tacky thru the front. This means the dazzling diamonds glitter is a thin layer. Spraying adhesive directly on card stock and adding glitter would give you a very thick coat of glitter - a different look that maybe good for another technique. Tami
You can watch a few other of my videos for some tips...you can decorate inside as much, or as little as you like. When using dark card stock, I normally layer a panel of whisper white inside to write on. Or you can use a gel pen. tami
Love this card and I think that one nice added perk (that is an accident but a nice one) is that it will smell nice, if you have used a sheet with a scent. Again, just a gorgeous card! I love that sparkle. Your recipient will enjoy opening this one.
Love it! My Stamp Club has told me about the dryer sheet technique that their previous Demonstrator taught them. I've not been able to ask her how she does it so, I'm glad I found your video and can do it myself now! I've got another tree stamp I can use but, I have had my eye on the Lovely as a Tree set for a while now. This will be next year's card to friends and family. TFS!
Very inspirational.....and I have plenty of everything you have so I see a lot of Christmas in July card making for me soon! Thank you and glad I found your site.
Thank you so much for this video! I watched it, invited a couple of good friends over and we made this card with complete success in record time! Can't wait to try this method with other stamps!
LOL!!! I really need to finish my cup of caffiene in the morning before posting on YT. My apologies, I meant to post this below 1 person. Sorry for calling you Nola and very cool on the Angel stamp idea, sounds awesome. Tami
Thanks and yes!! Because the dryer sheet is so thin and "holey" when you spray the adhesive on the back, and stick it down. The front will be slightly "tacky" for a short time. Making it the perfect time to pour the dazzling diamonds glitter on. Tami
LOVE IT...GOTTA start ask my neighbors and family for their used dryer sheets if I want to get many done for Christmas...but this is so pretty...and Yes, I DO TOO have those stamps and love them! such a pretty card...woo hoo...I am subscribe..thanks again, Tami
I haven't tried this with our other glitters, but the subtle quality of the translucent fine dazzling diamonds glitter definitely add to the "wow factor" because they don't take away from the card. I'm thinking that a silver, gold or colored glitter might distract from your image underneath. I haven't tried though, You could experiment and see how they come out. Tami
Hi Valerie, spray the back of the dryer sheet, stick it down on the card stock. pour the glitter over it, flick the back real good to shake off the loose glitter....then no. I haven't had an issue with glitter "fall out" down the road. Try it, you'll like it (like Mikey from the Life cereal commercials hehehe) Tami
yeah! Happy to help!! Snowflakes look great too! Got to have Lovely as a Tree, it goes with everything...it's the new black lolol!!! (actually it's the old black as it's the oldest set in the catalog) Tami
Wow,beautiful card!! I don't have any drier sheets but will try asking the laundromat:) Think it needs a sentiment too, this will be great for my overseas Christmas cards as you're not adding many layers, tfs!
love it...now I have my idea for my Christmas Cards...and I already have everything that is in the video...now that is cool...saved some pennies to...thank you....victoria
Thank you, and it can be our secret that you didn't spend as much time as usual on them. No one would know how easy they are by looking at them:) Enjoy, Tami
+stampwithtami I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video since 2012 and today...just now... I caught your remark, "It's TULLE not TOOL as in 'you tool"..." I laughed so hard, my coffee went down the wrong way and I laughed and coughed up a lung. I have no idea why I never heard that before, but that was way too funny! lol Hope you have a great week xox
+diane in FV hahahaha....and my job here is complete. When I can make someone laugh so hard they choke on their coffee, I can call it a day. Thanks for sharing! Tami
+diane in FV Dare I say..... same here! Me tho, well... my computer screen wasn't the lucky recipient. =p Got a nice burst of caffeine! (pun intended) Speaking of.. idk about you, but every time I see this, can't help but just think (pardon my French!) Just.. fuckin'... GENIUS!!! (wish I were 1/1000th's as creative) Am quite sure she gets loads of compliments, har har.... an absolute WOW! Thanks @Tami for sharing your ideas & talents with us! Happy holidays to you both, & yours.. however it is you'll be celebrating! :) Amanda/IL
This is awesome!!! I love this card!!! This is what I'm going to do for my Xmas cards this year/2014. I can't believe I haven't seen you since now. I'm glad I found you. Thanks for sharing. -Jennifer
Hi Lena, dryer sheets are fabric softeners that we put in the clothes dryer (after the washing machine). In the US their brand names are: Bounce, Downy, Gain or Snuggle or the more popular brands. Try googling it and see what they are made of, maybe you can find something similar in Norway. Good luck! Tami
Tami, every time i think the card you make can't get any wowowower ( new word ) just for you. You have come upwith another card..I am going to ask my husband to save the dyer sheets this week so i can try this... I bought the "tree" stamp in june not knowing what to do with it.. I am new to the stampin up folks and I buy what i think is icute..Thanks for this card Tami ... ♥ Pam
+Pamela Brown Maybe I should start a "Pam's Dictionary" to go along with the "Tami's Dictionary" lol! I'm always making up words too. When I made these for Christmas, my clothes smelled soooo good. I probably had 10 dryer sheets to each load hahaha. Tami
This is the first video I saw last year that you had done, and caused me to start following you. So again it's all your fault, because you did such a wonderful card. I have plenty of used dryer sheets, my favorite stamp set which is lovely as a tree, and now I need to start making some Christmas cards. I just need to find the right type of ribbon to use. Thanks for a great card tutorial, although I don't know why an old card is showing up from 6 years ago. Don't care, I love it!
Honestly, this doesn't have too much glitter "fall out" (none on the ones that I've done). And you absolutely can spray hairspray over any glittery card to keep the glitter from falling.
Your Card is so Pretty! I made my Mom's Christmas Card last year using this Technique and it turned out Gorgeous. I didn't Iron my Dryer Sheet though. Thanks so much for Sharing! :0)
Thanks for your reply Tami. I was wondering about hairspray..... I do have that stamp set from years ago. And I think I will be placing a small order with you. I really shouldn't, since I'm unemployed at the moment, but there are a few items I want before they retire. I can afford to skip a few meals!!! Lol
That is sooo cool that your cousin shares my name! I have a friend from high school named Tammey White, it's funny when we respond to each other on facebook hahaha. Glad you found me! Tami
Hi Kathy, thank you and YES absolutely...I hope it never retires. You can order it right thru the link above in the video description (all card details and ordering info is there). Tami
Maybe hit up a neighbor to recycle their old sheets? Or visit the local laundry mat lol. The issue I can see with new sheets is they have a "waxy" coating that is thick that may cause several complications (1 - you can't see thru it, 2 - not sure the adhesive or glitter would adhere as well to the wax). This melts off when you use the sheet, making the used sheets perfect for the technique. You could try experimenting with other fabrics too. Tami
i tried this technique but I stamped the trees on acetate and then turned it over and added alcohol inks in different shades of green and then i added the dryer sheet on top with glitter and it is gorgeous. try that technique. thanks
This is the most beautiful card I have seen this season.
Thank you so mutch for your kindness. But i found some dryer sheets on ebay. So i am going to order from there.

Hi, Tami - this is so cool compared to other techniques that I've watched it like....4 times now! It's beautiful! Thank you :) :) :)
That's awesome! Don't you just love it when everything comes together like that, must have been fate! Enjoy the cards, they are a real WOW.
Tami
Wow, That's the most beautiful card I ever seen. Never even realize about the bounce sheet that works for the glitter. Awesome video and Thanks for sharing. :)
TFS - WOW. I love. love love this idea. Quick, easy and gorgeous. And to think i have spent way too much time and labor on my Christmas cards.I am seriously going to do this.
I love this stamp set. I have it too on the wood blocks. Your card is a fantasy to behold.
Tami... Good Morning and thank you so much for your response. I've taken notes from the tutorial (video) and this evening will start with this card for those on my card list out of state. You've got a couple that I watch over and over. Then I practice until I get it.

WOW!!! I'm soooo flattered, 4x, that's awesome!!! I hope you LOVE doing it!! It's very, very pretty in person.
tami
You just saved me having to buy Sook-Wang sheets. I'd give you a hug if I could.
Tami,
The card is unique and beautiful. I am definitely giving it a try for my Christmas card list. Thank you for bringing this lovely technique to video instruction. I can hardly wait to get started.
YOU ARE Awesome.... I always have problems with glitter.... this is the BEST way!!!!
You're very welcome. :) I never thought about the dryer sheet. I always put the glue on the card than glitters on it... but this one, that's a GREAT idea!! :) Keep it up ur hard work. I enjoy watching ur videos. :)

Thanks! Sometimes we are our own worst critics, mine aren't even straight hehehe...but there's a beauty in that:)
have a great day! Tami
So simple, yet so GORGEOUS! Thanks for sharing this technique Tami!
Love this card and I think that one nice added perk (that is an accident but a nice one) is that it will smell nice, if you have used a sheet with a scent. Again, just a gorgeous card! I love that sparkle. Your recipient will enjoy opening this one.

Thank you so much for this video! I watched it, invited a couple of good friends over and we made this card with complete success in record time! Can't wait to try this method with other stamps!
thank you for replying, I will ask my sister as she has a drier. Great technique many thanks for all the wonderful videos.
Andrea
You go! I saved mine for a class once, had them all piled up and they got thrown away by accident hehehe! Tami
Thanks Rhonda, you will love how simple it is.
Tami
LOL!!! I really need to finish my cup of caffiene in the morning before posting on YT. My apologies, I meant to post this below 1 person. Sorry for calling you Nola and very cool on the Angel stamp idea, sounds awesome. Tami
Wow! This is gorgeous! I will grab some spray adhesive and super fine glitter this week, and try my hand at a few cards XD
That's AWESOME!!! You will get lots of compliments, have fun!!
Tami
Love, Love, LOVE this! I think I may have just found the card I'll make this year!
Love this..one addition comes to mind, add a little cedar or pine essential oil to the dryer sheet for that Christmas scent when opening the card.
Thanks and yes!! Because the dryer sheet is so thin and "holey" when you spray the adhesive on the back, and stick it down. The front will be slightly "tacky" for a short time. Making it the perfect time to pour the dazzling diamonds glitter on.
Tami
Thanks so much!! It certainly falls under the "what will they think of next" category hehehe. oh and it's even more stunning in person.
Tami
I love, love, love this card! Wish I could use that stamp like you do,even when I do it with a stamp-a-ma-jig I make a mess of the trees, lol.
Wow, that is beautiful. I can't wait to try this.

That is sooooo beautiful, I love it and will try it. The instructions were very easy...thanks
I think it will look fantastic! Try always artichoke for a nice Christmasy green.
Tami
I haven't tried this with our other glitters, but the subtle quality of the translucent fine dazzling diamonds glitter definitely add to the "wow factor" because they don't take away from the card. I'm thinking that a silver, gold or colored glitter might distract from your image underneath. I haven't tried though, You could experiment and see how they come out.

tami
I absolutely adore this card!!
Any brand will do ya! That's just what I had handy to demo on.
Tami
Thank you for your reply. I saw another video where they used a glue stick and it seems to have worked out very well as well. Thanks again!

I'm sure the laundromat will love "recycling" who wouldn't? Especially for a good cause like cool cards lol! Thanks, Tami
