About naming your character: There's an achievement for naming him "omocat" after the developer, but otherwise you just can't name him after any of the main characters. Hope you enjoy the game, it's one of my favorites!

Enjoy the game! Careful of spoilers, anyone who wants to play. I recommend you stay away from UA-cam for a while until you've finished. The community is pretty good at tagging spoilers in video titles and comments, but it'd still be good to play it safe. Make sure you're in a good enough place mentally when you play. Depending on who you are, though, the game might help you. It helped me.

The body discovery scenes in Danganronpa are pretty bad but Omori made me have to turn on a light (I know that sounds sounds stupid but I couldn't handle the shadows and stuff) and process things Everyone could be disturbed by both and I'm not a kid so I really don't know, I'm just not sure if he should leave a psychological horror game that I don't think I'll ever fully process completely uncensored Also In my opinion he should have censored the body discovery stuff like he did in DDLC (or maybe that was a DDLC mod), but it's Michael's choice

rewatching this bc ive been getting back into the omori fandom recently and holy fuck this vid is only from like 2021 but i feel so nostalgic from when i was watching this 4 the 1st time i literally feel like im gonna cry-
I think Omori can start off a tiny bit slow, but honestly its such an amazing game if you continue playing it. It has great humor, the music is great especially some of the boss fights, and the story is honestly beautiful. Imo its honestly a masterpiece of a game. Its one of the only games that made me actually cry. SPOILERS LIKE SERIOUSLY DONT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED THE GAME: I think the reason that I cried so much is because I can relate to sunny. I also have an older sister and she is honestly one of my favorite people in my life. It made me even more sad realizing that Sunny kills Mari on accident, and on top of that the duet song just made me even more depressed over fictional characters.

If you guys gatekeep this game to prevent toxicity in the fandom, it won't work cus gatekeepers would already make the fandom look toxic. About naming your character: There's an achievement for naming him "omocat" after the developer, but otherwise you just can't name him after any of the main characters. Hope you enjoy the game, it's one of my favorites!

Also, this game gets VERY HEAVY and covers stuff like su*c*de, depression, etc. Just a warning, because this game IS a physiological horror and is not as happy as it looks. However, if you can handle that, PLEASE PLS CONTINUE OMORI! It’s beautifully written and the story is very moving.

I think Omori can start off a tiny bit slow, but honestly its such an amazing game if you continue playing it. It has great humor, the music is great especially some of the boss fights, and the story is honestly beautiful. Imo its honestly a masterpiece of a game. Its one of the only games that made me actually cry.

I think the reason that I cried so much is because I can relate to sunny. I also have an older sister and she is honestly one of my favorite people in my life. It made me even more sad realizing that Sunny kills Mari on accident, and on top of that the duet song just made me even more depressed over fictional characters.
