I have completed a four part series of instructional vids on how I play Ronald Jenkees' "Guitar Sound". I don't use TABs as a rule so I'm sure there will be mistakes:)

Tab is wrong, which is confusing. But thanks for posting this, still helpful in trying to work this out.
In this video, I'm using a line6 pod hd, with one of it's amp simulators, a little chorus, echo and not too much distortion. There is no equalizer in this.

Good catch. There should be two more notes: open 6th string and then 11th fret on the 3rd string, before the part you mentioned. And then your part is eighth notes starting on the 4th beat. (4,e,&,a). I'll update this in annotations when I get time.
Your tab is wrong... you're playing a string higher but showing a string lower on the tab
Kiril maybe your guitar is tuned differently to the one in the tutorial
definitely a few parts on the wrong string

man this tab is scuffed, but the actual arrangement is awesome
sounds even better played on a real guitar, rather than a keyboard. awesome

Use a little distortion, and an echo set to 600ms. Not too much of either effect.

so when you say down 1/2 step does that mean D# G# C# F# A# D# ......Or...... D A D G B E
D# or Eb. That's 1/2 step down.
