The company’s CEO, Kimberly Ann, recently highlighted the strategic advantages of their Nevada location, emphasizing the existing infrastructure that could fast-track the mine's reopening. With access to three wells, a substation, and robust road connectivity, Lahontan is well-prepared to navigate the regulatory landscape and secure the necessary permits. Their goal is clear: to make a decisive production decision that aligns with both investor expectations and public interests.
In 2024, Lahontan Gold Corp plans to aggressively explore the Santa Fe Mine, further assessing its viability and exploring development scenarios that could see the mine operational once more. The addition of the newly acquired West Santa Fe property promises to enhance this venture, potentially adding significant shallow oxide resources that complement the existing deposits.
Beyond Santa Fe, Lahontan's portfolio includes other promising projects like Moho and Redlich Silver, both of which offer excellent exploration potential and are ready for drilling. This diverse asset base underscores the company's commitment to establishing a substantial footprint in Nevada's mining sector.
