What an informative and thorough review! Matthew's engaging commentary not only compares the Halo Collar and Spot-On Collar but also delves into real-world scenarios, showcasing their durability and practicality. His personal anecdotes, like the experience in the mountains and the whistle function, add a touch of authenticity and relatability to the review. It's evident that these GPS-enabled dog collars provide peace of mind for dog owners, ensuring their furry companions' safety and security in various situations. Overall, a compelling and insightful analysis that's sure to help dog owners make informed decisions.
Upgraded to the Halo Collar 3, the training features are a game-changer! And he’s right about the Halo Dog Park service-so helpful when facing some hiccups.
I came for an honest review and I was turned away by what looks like a comment section full of bots. Seems as if someone bought bots for a comment section full of positive comments (or negative, depending on perspective). Kind of a very weird thing to do if a product is "top of the class" anyway, and I have to wonder who would have paid for something like that. Is this what marketing looks like these days? Hard pass on this product.
Yeah I was almost suckered into the idea of buying it from this review then I saw that HALO IS THE OWNER OF THIS CHANNEL NOT A TECH REVIEWER. I was watching a different reviewer and got turned off by the fact he had a SpotOn discount code and seemed to be pushing it a bit to hard, I just want a genuine review weighing the pros and cons of both collars, if I wanted to watch an AD I wouldn't have hit the skip button
It has to be paid for by them because the collar sucks. When it works it work fairly well. Unfortunately it rarely works well. The GPS “drift” is unacceptable. The website is horrible, and it’s impossible to talk to a human at customer support to order replacement parts.
Interesting enough many reviewers using both favor the spot on….for example compare price of subscription with price of collar….not the whole picture and definitely not a true comparison
@@HaloCollar No. The “training” teaches your dog to “come”. If you cant figure that out without using a GPC collar that has a hard time connecting to GPS you don’t need to own a dog. Remake the next collar as a pure containment collar and it will work better.
Thank you for your interest in Halo. Trees usually don't effect the GPS, which is all the collar needs to keep your dog inside the fence. Depending on your area it may affect your cell signal.

What a trash "review." I'm now even more convinced to get a Spot On. And every independent review I've found so far has clearly show Spot On to be a better product when you actually use it. And lets not forget, you have to pay a monthly fee to use Halo. Spot On doesn't require it for basic fence functions.

Why are there so many fake accounts giving halo positive reviews on this video? Are you ok with this?
@@beauheaton3228 If I had to bet HALO is running the bots. I have the HALO 2+ and it sucks.
Halo is garbage. You are propped up by bots and paid actors. I am returning mine. I hope you go out of business.

We're happy to hear the Halo Dog Park was there for you.

I have the HALO 2+ and I can tell you that it sucks. Major GPS drift. Takes a longtime to get a signal and you have to have a “pack” membership.

Halo is running this show 😂 this is definitely a paid for ad

Matthew's SpotOn GPS fence reviews are spot on! Pretty accurate with my own experience. Nice to see some honest opinions out there.
We're happy to hear you enjoyed the review.
Watching through these Halo collar reviews and gotta say, they feel so genuine. Appreciate a comparison that's real and relatable.
We're happy it helps!
Very informative review on both devices. I needed that. Thanks so much. HALO is the way to go.
Interesting enough many reviewers using both favor the spot on….for example compare price of subscription with price of collar….not the whole picture and definitely not a true comparison
Also has incorrect tech specs on spot on system as well…..cellular not required for collar to work😢
Most of us came here for the gps geofencing capabilities but you didn’t mention much. Could you breakdown your thoughts?
SpotOn dog collar seems solid, but after watching and reading some reviews, I'm thinking my pup deserves something more.
Having Cesar Millans training techniques built in to the collar really sets it apart.

I have heavy trees in part of my yard. Will it work under trees?

I'd like to see a comparison of the most recent Spoton collar and the Halo 3.
How's the privacy from the app on your phone? Does it harvest all your personal data to sell to highest bidder?
Anyone else using the SpotOn GPS dog fence? Mine's been acting up lately, wondering if it's just me or if others are having issues too.
His take on Halo versus SpotOn GPS collars has me weighing my options. While SpotOn's carrier selection is simple, I’m drawn to Halo's!
With Halo, you don't have to select a carrier. Our collar will work off of any signal it can find without you doing anything.
Matthew's comparison between Halo versus SpotOn collars makes me decide what's best for my pup. And I'm leaning towards the Halo Collar!

Been using the Halo Collar and gotta give props where it's due - that signal connectivity is top-notch!
Not being tied to one certain carrier makes a huge difference.
Switched to the Halo collar for my dog recently, and the 24 hrs of battery life is far better than 18 hrs.
We're so happy to hear you're enjoying the longer battery life!
As if Halo is gonna say Spoton is better than 🤔
SpotOn GPS fence works well most of the time, but gotta admit, dealing with occasional hiccups drains my energy.
👌
Halo dog fence works better overall compared to others we've tried.
Thank you so much for sharing.
The ad is full of fake reviews. Garbage.

Mine often takes 2-3 minutes to get a signal even in my open yard.
