People don't realize how nice a home looks when the driveway is seal coated. My father unknowingly hired a group of gypsies to seal coat the driveway while one gypsy distracted him the others went into the backyard and attempted to break into our home. After that, I had a concrete driveway put in.
Love your videos! Is there a heavier product you guys use that flows slower and is thicker, maybe providing longer protection? As a homeowner in the PNW, just curious.
hey guys, great job you did on this driveway, i enjoyed to see it, have a good winter rest, i hope to see you guys soon again, thanks for schowing.😃👍💪💯
I love watching your videos especially the ones without the background music 😊 it’s so relaxing and hearing you going through the puddle, it’s satisfying 👍🏽
Looks great as usual Guys. What mix are you doing with pmm I swear everytime I get a batch it’s never consistent. I either add 20% water and it’s perfect and I’ll do it again next thing I knew I’m pumping mud. I don’t like this stuff. Coal tar got way too expensive
It’s tough. We’re trying to stay between 25%-30%. I think our fill station has a 2% margin of error with the product they get from the plant. AE is definitely harder to control than CT.
I spend around two hours watching seal coating for life per day.
We appreciate that. 🤝
You're not alone!
I could watch you guys do this all day and never get bored. Excellent work as always!
Thank you Mr. Funk
I agree with you 100%. I feel the same way. 😊✌️
Nice to see a new video! Really glad that it wasn’t windy so that the leaves didn’t cause much of an issue
Thats on its way. They are really starting to come down now.
It’s like watching someone ice a cake! It’s so artistic and satisfying.
🎂
How did you get started? Did you start out just using buckets of sealer, then a tank and trailer, now with a big truck?
Exactly everything you just said, in that order.
What a “fine oiled machine”! You guys are like a Swiss watch.
Thanks, we’ve done 1,000’s of driveways together. I’m glad it shows.

I’m sorry to hear that. We’re trying to change the culture. Thanks for watching.

Always great work guys! Keep it up. Another day another dollar
Getting it done
✌️
I'm watching this again, January 2024 and it's better than the day it was released. So entertaining and peaceful.
✌️

What happens if leaves fall down onto the fresh coat, or even while you are applying the coat?
What about the leaves? #shorts

What happens if the seal coating stuff gets on the grass?
Nothing

Looks great as usual

I liked the coal tar. My local plant only carries asphalt emulsion.
✌️
Do you ever power wash the driveway? I'm about to do mine as we spoke before and I ended up surface cleaning it. Probably overkill
Not necessary
@@daveklein2826 I figured as such... I got the heavy mud off and practically everything now. Was afraid of it not bonding.
have you every tried pulling the sealcoat instead of pushing? you can erase your footprints at once while pulling to material
I’ve found that the sealer last longer/looks better if it’s brushed-in, in multiple directions.
I tried it for a couple of days a few year back
Where did you get your squeegee from? Been trying to find a good one

I think this is the first time that your sealer appears to brown in color, is this a different batch or an additive or?
No, it’s the same. I think it’s because it’s overcast outside.
It's always brown and dries black
What is seal coating?
