God surprised me at the grocery store. A man I was helping find something on his list started talking with me and joking around. He told me he was a preacher and after we said our goodbyes he stopped me again and said “God has something for me to tell you” and started to tell me to stop worrying so much and that God is with me and to stay the path I have been going. I’ve been discouraged so much this semester, I’ve been told I’m not smart enough to be a doctor, it’s not fit for me, and I kept praying and was about to give up and settle for the easy until this random stranger told me to continue on my path and God will take care of the rest. It’s still not easy, I’m still stressed and unsure but I do know that God has something planned for my life and if I continue to lean on him, he will slowly reveal what he has planned for me.

Jesus flipped tables ... I doubt he was exactly nice about it ... and I can respect your want to call something out... but know that when you do.... and if your wrong... it's a label that isn't easily shaken... you don't always have to agree with someone to believe their working for God... we have different levels of graduating as Christians... people who are in places that they need their hand held to walk out of ... you can't know the TRUE evil I've seen... evil that you don't hear about... worse than what you can imagine... so sometimes what someone needs to see their way out of that isn't what will work for you in your time and season... so long as they profess that Jesus is the ONLY way to the father, believe on every word of the bible & welcome the holy spirit I don't see a problem... there are people out there like that but here's the thing... their eyes will always match what your quoting... there was a time when I thought anyone could be capable of being the one saying Lord did I not ... but that's no way to live?! I believe it's that very first scripture you quoted that the enemy uses to make us question ourselves that's why we have to be responsible when we use such mature scripture... but that's where faith comes in & grace and mercy... the law convicts us... faith and mercy and grace frees us... we have to take God on faith right? We'd do well to do the same for ourselves at times... I think you'd be surprised if you knew what God knew... that's why it's sooo dangerous to assume... the pharasies assumed that the messiah would come a certain way too... people are being set free from addictions via this ministry... that's alright in my book... when Jesus was asked about people coming in his name he said... assume their for us... no one can easily say a bad word about me if their coming in my name... maybe meditate on that scripture 🙏🖤🙏

Amen 🙏🏽 I was surprised this week with the ending of my 4.5 year relationship. I had been in prayer off and on about this situation for quite some time and I was surprised that it finally happened exactly as I asked. God is so good. The pain of heartbreak is still real and present but there is an underlying peace that I now feel. That is the gift of God 🤍
Currently facing a similar situation 18 years of a relationship 14 married and have been battling anxiety and depression now for 2 months. These messages have come right on time. I still hurt but I’m getting stronger.

On Saturday, I was reading this exact passage of the Bible and I thought to myself.. that is wild, powerful. God works in mysterious ways, is all I've been saying for the past week. He has a plan for even his children that have rejected him...for his children that doubt him.. for children that fall away and sin and then realize they love God more than sin and repent and change their ways. I am so surprised at how God's timing is never wrong. It may feel wrong, during different circumstances but sometimes... it is exactly what we needed to see things differently, we just didn't know it in the moment. This entire Sermon was absolutely anointed w. the holy spirit.. I've never laughed, cried, and felt so deeply God's spirit and calling and definitely the element of surprise. This lesson was perfect for me where I’m at right now. I’ve been so anxious these days. I relate to needing control and feeling afraid of the “bad surprises.” God has been telling me these days to trust him. Stop trying to figure things out and trust him. When God decides to move he will move. God doesn’t need to give me advance notice. I loved all the examples in this lesson. My husband died suddenly 3 years ago leaving me a widow and a single mom. That “surprise” can still affect how I view changes in my future. God wasn’t surprised by his death. God already anticipated all of it for me and my family. What helps me is to see where God brought me in the last 3 years. God is full of surprises. He has done so many *good* surprises and miracles in my life and God is trying to help my heart to know how to fully trust him.

@GODS Messenger you decided to add your own little parentheses of YOUR words... so don't sit there and say that it comes from God's mouth when your adding to it within the quotations... honestly yea I've wondered about large ministries over the years... he'll it only makes sense if I've doubted God at times... but guess what... we judge what we see all the time... why... it's the way our minds are built so that we can sift & sort thru information the basics being colors shapes and sizes... that a bird, that's a chair, that's a human, that's a blue bird, that's a wooden chair, that's a human of the male form ... our brains are supposed to be able to process what we see... we're human with Adams sin added to it... it's why God shows us how to allow our humanity to function normally also while throwing off the sinful nature to take his on... you don't know me, but it's thru myself that I've learned about GOD... if I can forgive people and things they've done to me that most others wouldn't ... then how Mich more will my father do for me? At the end of the day the judgement belongs to God ALONE ... does he give us parameters to help aid us in our lives yes... here's how I sort it out... you could proabably convince me he's only in it for money... but they eyes are the windows to the soul... the eyes CANNOT LIE I don't care how good or slick you THINK you are... that for me is where God speaks... we're not always meant to agree, different things can apply to different people at different times in their lives... that's why we're supposed to chew the meat and spit out the bones... if I hadn't been thru what I've been thru and been gifted with the gifts that God has given me of the holy spirit I might believe people who comment like you do all the time... & in your willingness to protect & try to help YOUR doing the very thing your accusing him of... normally I keep my mouth shut because when it comes down to it it's between you and God... but it's not right for you to hinder someone's walk just because your unsure of your own... and if your gonna call someone out... bring evidence... notice your putting the same label on him that was put on Jesus... Jesus flipped tables ... I doubt he was exactly nice about it ... and I can respect your want to call something out... but know that when you do.... and if your wrong... it's a label that isn't easily shaken... you don't always have to agree with someone to believe their working for God... we have different levels of graduating as Christians... people who are in places that they need their hand held to walk out of ... you can't know the TRUE evil I've seen... evil that you don't hear about... worse than what you can imagine... so sometimes what someone needs to see their way out of that isn't what will work for you in your time and season... so long as they profess that Jesus is the ONLY way to the father, believe on every word of the bible & welcome the holy spirit I don't see a problem... there are people out there like that but here's the thing... their eyes will always match what your quoting... there was a time when I thought anyone could be capable of being the one saying Lord did I not ... but that's no way to live?! I believe it's that very first scripture you quoted that the enemy uses to make us question ourselves that's why we have to be responsible when we use such mature scripture... but that's where faith comes in & grace and mercy... the law convicts us... faith and mercy and grace frees us... we have to take God on faith right? We'd do well to do the same for ourselves at times... I think you'd be surprised if you knew what God knew... that's why it's sooo dangerous to assume... the pharasies assumed that the messiah would come a certain way too... people are being set free from addictions via this ministry... that's alright in my book... when Jesus was asked about people coming in his name he said... assume their for us... no one can easily say a bad word about me if their coming in my name... maybe meditate on that scripture 🙏🖤🙏

Amen 🙏🏽 I was surprised this week with the ending of my 4.5 year relationship. I had been in prayer off and on about this situation for quite some time and I was surprised that it finally happened exactly as I asked. God is so good. The pain of heartbreak is still real and present but there is an underlying peace that I now feel. That is the gift of God 🤍

On Saturday, I was reading this exact passage of the Bible and I thought to myself.. that is wild, powerful. God works in mysterious ways, is all I've been saying for the past week. He has a plan for even his children that have rejected him...for his children that doubt him.. for children that fall away and sin and then realize they love God more than sin and repent and change their ways. I am so surprised at how God's timing is never wrong. It may feel wrong, during different circumstances but sometimes... it is exactly what we needed to see things differently, we just didn't know it in the moment. This entire Sermon was absolutely anointed w. the holy spirit.. I've never laughed, cried, and felt so deeply God's spirit and calling and definitely the element of surprise. My marriage was a mess and I asked God for help and I was surprised to have the best night of our marriage just hours after asking then I tern on my UA-cam next morning to see this message thank you prays God
This lesson was perfect for me where I’m at right now. I’ve been so anxious these days. I relate to needing control and feeling afraid of the “bad surprises.” God has been telling me these days to trust him. Stop trying to figure things out and trust him. When God decides to move he will move. God doesn’t need to give me advance notice. I loved all the examples in this lesson.
My husband died suddenly 3 years ago leaving me a widow and a single mom. That “surprise” can still affect how I view changes in my future. God wasn’t surprised by his death. God already anticipated all of it for me and my family. What helps me is to see where God brought me in the last 3 years. God is full of surprises. He has done so many *good* surprises and miracles in my life and God is trying to help my heart to know how to fully trust him.

Pastor Steven Furtick and Pastor Robert Madu, are a blessing to me , I enjoyed being with God , because they make me feel very easy , I thought the word was so heavy that I will join it later when am old , but praise God 🙏 the two gentlemen showed me the way of Christ without any fighting or forcing anything , just call the name of the Lord and He will be with you at any given time. I pray that one day by grace of God I will be able to sit in their church and listen to their preaching one on one , I want to stay surprised, despite the distance between my country and USA . But I believe.

sharing this as I am being remembered of one of the most important birthday prayers for me by a woman of steadfast faith. "Lord, make her heart skipped a beat and continue to surprise her." now for this message, it reminded me, that we need to encounter GOD all the more and be more than surprised. that we will resort to worship. be expectant in faith and be surprised no matter what your situation is right now. life and blessing for all!
