It’s not dumb at all, but a C6 Z can easily make a lot more than the C7, with a good set of intake/heads and a big cam you can make north of 600whp on pump gas or almost 700 to the crank
it’s amazing how much work has to go into these LTs to make that kind of power when you can literally just strap a couple turbos and a fuel system on a coyote and get pretty damn close to this
@@TsukuyomiPlayz no i get it 100%! I blew up my gen 2 making 700 wheel before i built it so trust me i know the coyote isn’t the be all end all motor. Just saying it’s interesting to see the difference in HOW accessible this power is. Takes a lot of work to make these things make great power. With a coyote, not so much but definitely isn’t gonna last. You get to have your fun though, blow it up then build it better!
Doesn't take that much work. Yeah, the stock blower has a hard time getting there without a Kong X-port so a blower upgrade is nice. But the biggest PITA is the stock DI fuel system being way too small. Coyote is easy because it still has port injectors. Minus the fuel system issues, LT motors make power very easily.
Stock blocks can handle 900-950 whp from a roots . 1000whp + from a centrifugal blower because the boost at low rpm hits much softer and is easy on rods and engine.
@@speedlife301 100%. LT4 bottom end is plenty tough, especially on ethanol (wouldn't feel great about it on pump gas). I've seen many guys go years on 800-900 without issues.

Why do builds take so long to do

I’d love to see del’s set up in a C7Z i bet it would be a monster
Del’s is our stage 4 package, we’ve done a bunch on C7 Zs, but not everyone races as much as he does or is as local for us to constantly document.

Do y'all make a lid for the maggie?
This might be a dumb question but for a N/A build which would be a ideal daily C7 Grandsport M7 or C6 Z? Goal would be 600-700hp

C6 Z. You can make them have 700+whp revving to 8k . I’ve seen na c6zs beat c6 zr1 making 850whp…
Nice!
What's up with the catch can? why does "Smoke" come out of it is it vapor?
Now think if it didn’t have a catch can that vapor aka crankcase pressure will push oil into the intake which is bad
Atleast I’m pretty sure 😂

When y’all making a blackwing build we seen it in the video 😳😳😳
We’ll have some more in it soon!

It can't be tuned still, so options are limited. No we will not be putting a 2650 on one.

yes 112

Or do a vortec motor and turbo's with bigger injectors, pump, intercooler, and ring gap and blow by both.😊
Gen 2 is pretty stout, how did you blow it up at 700hp? Seems like something not right?
Wow
How much power can you make safely with a stock SBE with ported heads cam ported blower fuel system as needed. Full Bolt on car with automatic
700's to the wheels safely SBE. When you get to 800+ you need a shortblock or your on borrowed time. (spun bearings)
Your SBE will handle whatever you can throw at it with a stock blower. An cam + x port will be 850 on E which is problem for sbe.
