I was fishing yesterday using something similar (honey worm) and no lies I hooked into a 10+ lb catfish. Dang thing snapped my ultralight rod in half. Really bummed me out, was my favorite rod for panfish and trout.
They must have changed their recipe. I tried these when I was 16 or 17 in multiple spots and never got a thing while my brother was killing it on worms. I think I’ll give them another shot since it seems like they’ve improved their bait over the years.

I appreciate it when people try something out for me before I get some from Walmart. Thank you.
Sure thing. I like to experiment and share the results whether they’re good or bad so others can have an idea of what to do.

Dang that really sucks. Hate losing a favorite rod like that.
hell yea bill and ted. beautiful little catfish.
Yep nice little surprise.
I use these I love them I fish at my pond it’s literally loaded with bluegills so I can put it in for like 1 second and catch a big bluegill
They’re a really good bait for sure. Most if not all of the gulp baits are at the very least good. Some are dynamite.
@@ShowMetheHawgs Yup! I ran out today when I went fishing so I’m gonna buy like 3 bottles of them

Possibly but I hope they work for you if you give them another shot.
Is the lake still undergoing maintenance?
They’re working on the south end of it building a concrete retaining wall below the road.
I tried their nightcrawlers and haven't had any luck at all with them.
The times I’ve used them they’ve done well for me but the minnows are by far the best IMO in terms of Berkley gulp baits.
@@ShowMetheHawgs I'll have to give those a try!
I think that bass was smaller than the smallest bass I've ever caught
Lol
Bluegills will bite just about anything.
They sure do
