  • One of the central tenets of Automobili Pininfarina is an appreciation of the natural world, its myriad forms and materials, and how a car like Battista sits within that landscape.
The famous marble quarries of Piedmont perfectly exemplify this delicate symbiosis, revealing how traditional Italian design so often reflects the collaboration between human and nature, and the enduring beauty and luxury of precious materials, carefully selected, skilfully honed.
In the heart of the Apuan Alps, Italian marble has been mined for thousands of years. Famed for its purity and durability, it has been used to build many of the world’s most treasured monuments, from the Pantheon in ancient Rome, through the Tower of Pisa to Michelangelo’s Renaissance masterpiece ‘David’.
‘Marmo’ in its native Italian proved to be a source of inspiration for our small but passionate team as it took Italy’s first all-electric hypercar from dream to reality. For despite an unfailing focus on the future, the past, present and the world around us continues to offer inspiration.

A car that could actually change colour... Now that would be a game changer.

Pininfarina has lost its "mojo", in my opinion.
The "Battista" is not as beautiful as cars Pininfarina has designed in its iconic past. It simply is not inspirational in any way.
It is saddening that the several life-times it took to create the legendary marque, can be undone in such a short time. Please get your act together, Pininfarina! A brand needs ongoing, genuine substance.
Please don't go the same route as Bertone or Giugiaro.
Oh and, by the way, just a little advice - you shouldn't have to call your own products "beautiful" in your promotional videos. The compliments should be coming from external sources, otherwise it comes across as superfluous and tacky.

I think it looks great. It is not too extremist like the Evija nor is it too simplistic likethe Rimac, it is a really perfect and timeless hit on the design. But I must say that this car's design is not the most memorable one or the most admirable one, but it is very beautiful and timeless. Looks like a bit toned down version of the LaFerrari
