A Walking Tour of Copacabana - Bolivia’s Must-See City
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 вер 2024
- Cocoa leave fueled cab drivers, death-wish microbus drivers, and Bolivia's most dangerous roads. Those are only a few obstacles that stood between me and the jewel of Lake Titicaca, the city of Copacabana.
Okay, maybe it's not the jewel, but it is the gateway city on the Bolivian side of Lago Titicaca.
Covered in this walking tour are all the need-to-know sites and attractions of Copacabana. I'll take you through the main areas of interest within the city. We'll visit the outdoor market, the Cathedral, Copacabana Beach and Cerro Calvario.
You'll experience the vibe of Copacabana and see the beautiful Titicaca coastline, and distant Isla Del Sol, all in stunning 4k video.

Beautiful countryside!
Love the train cemetery 😮❤
I love the Andean clothing-especially the hats! So cool.
Thanks
Wow beautiful!!
It really is! See you soon
Thanks for the cool tour! Nice
Thanks!
great video editing
Thanks!
thank you for uploading these videos. youtube has started to add your videos to my search list. which is good! your views will probably go in couple of months. awesome to see your point of view!
Thanks. I hope you’re right about the views.
Weird nobody is swimming in lake Titicaca. I hope you’re going to explore some more around this enormous lake. Thank you for sharing! Liked it.👍👌💪🏻
I thought it was odd nobody was swimming either. I’ll be checking it off my list in the next day or so.
I remember as a kid that I watched a documentary of Jaqueline Cousteau, you still can find it here on UA-cam: Legend of Lake Titicaca, Episode 7 of 36, Jacques Cousteau Odyssey. They where diving there (very dangerous) in lake Titicaca.
@@BuffertheTourist Nobody was swimming because most can't swim up there, plus the water is normally freezing cold. If you are going to swim in it I recommend doing it in one of the islands.
Walking tour with a beer in hand. Like your style.... ; )
Wait. Are you saying people do walking tours without beers?
@@BuffertheTourist Yeah I'm a Brit...it's hard for me to comprehend too. : P
Oh man, the potatoes at 6:10 are chuño / tunta. I don't know if you're still in Bolivia but I really hope you get/had the chance to try them on your trip. Until you know what they taste like, you just couldn't imagine how beautiful they are.
Also it's a pleasure to have come across your channel. I fly to El Alto for a month in not too long to see family there and needed inspiration for my return. Looks like you've really used your time well there, there are truly few places like it :)
Thanks for the great comment. I never tried the potatoes, but I will next time. Have a great trip.
I left you a post before u left the US about megalithic sites. If your interested you are close to Tiwanaku and the H blocks. There are two sites there to visit. Check it out on the internet to see if it is a worthwhile trip. I've never been but would like to one day. Stay safe.
Tiwanaku is on my list. I’m hoping to visit when I cycle back to La Paz. Weather permitting. Rainy season is in full force.
@@BuffertheTourist Highly recommend Tiwanaku, it's one of those must see places.
Why are the borders closed into Peru?
Civil unrest, violence, protests. Not at all safe right now.
@@BuffertheTourist thx sir!
