there three differen styles but the three of them are really good...obviusly Aidas has the most experience ..more than 40 years singin while Angela two-ish years...so..I think for a new singer...she is doing amazingly.
This is a very old traditional song and of course Aida Cuevas is the lady with the oldest and solid trajectory, she is not even showing off her powerful voice right there, you are right as usual this song suits Aida more. Her brother Carlos Cuevas is a great traditional romentic singer, he sings most of all boleros and has a great voice as well you should listen to him even if you don`t react to his performances.
This performance shows three generations of mexican female artists. Ángela Aguilar was 15 years old in this performance. Her voice is very young and she isn't that experienced (she is too nasal in this song, in my opinion). She is the daughter of Pepe Aguilar, an incredibly famous singer. I agree with you, La Llorona, originaly by Chavela Vargas ( I think you would love her) is a dark, melancholic song. It's about the relationship between a woman and the darkness that lies in her.
