- This week at Starbase as work continues on ships, boosters, mega bays, stage 0 and the Starfactory expansion, segments of the next launch tower begin making their way from Cape Canaveral to Starbase. Meanwhile, over at the Cape, SpaceX proudly launches its first of three Cygnus resupply mission to the ISS for Northrop Grumman.

Hoppy is these days a Tall Colander if you looked real close. The 420 launch was a dozy for shrapnel damage to the entire site.

Congrats on 100 episodes 👏 Since SpaceX plans to stretch Starship and possibly boosters. I wonder if SpaceX will increase the height of the current launch tower and of course build the second launch tower that new height. SpaceX should also position the second tower so that the new OLM is on the opposite side of any infrastructure/tank farms ect. Meaning the new launch tower acts as a barrier between the OLM and any infrastructure. Just like the current launch tower acts as a protective barrier between the OLM and the water deluge tank farm.

@@alvianchoiriapriliansyah9882 I was referring to the Starship Version 2 that Mr Musk announced a couple months ago. You know, when he said they wouldn't be building any more of the current version of Starship. Minor variations and improvements do not necessarily a new model make.

Hey Lab. Thank you for your no nonsense reporting on SpaceX activity. So I want to ask you. Can SpaceX just build an extension to Highway 4, junctioning a bit south at the Starbase sign and running parallel to the current Highway 4 to the beach? SpaceX can then give this, what? 1-2 mile road to Texas as the new public road, so people can drive to the beach whenever they want, and SpaceX can take over the current highway 4 from Starbase all the way to the beach as a private driveway where they can move Starships whenever they want. Will something like this work there?
No, because it'll require money, environmental permit, and it'll still be closed anyways for testing
Making highway 4 significantly wider makes sense when Starship hull diameter is increased.
