Why do people always leave out “Submit yourself to Jesus.” When they quote James 4:7? Without it we can’t “resist the devil.”

Also, in John 15 Jesus says “produce good fruit, (by living in submission to Him “abide in Him and He will abide in us”) or be in danger of being cut off and tossed in the fire!”

Ps. The word Christ isn’t a name, it’s a job title. Jesus is God’s Name. “I and the Father are One! If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father!” Jesus points to the Father, but His Name is power!
