I am a die-hard stony shipper but I acknowledge what MCU has done so perfectly for this ship and accept it and that the work you put through making this flawless, heart aching video...its so beautiful. You are beautiful.
Beautiful video. I've been searching for this song and this pairing. However one thinks of Steve and Bucky, their bond is powerful. Bucky spent years being Steve's only friend. Bucky also spent years protecting Steve because that's part of Bucky's character. They were war buddies, trusting each other in a time of life or death. I just posted on another vid that Steve would do almost anything for Bucky, but that's also the reason why Steve left. Steve would steal, give up his shield, lie to his friends, and fight his closest friends (okay there was more to that) for Bucky. Steve's morals were changing and it terrified him. Steve was scared of his own feelings and needed to go back to a simpler time, when things were clearer. A time when people were told what to do with their lives. Thank you for this vid.
One of the things that makes this hurt so much is, as per the WWII photo in Bucky's file- similar to photos of my granddad in his uniform as a young man from Brooklyn- these two would have been contemporaries of my grandfather. How that puts things in perspective...
I actually can't find the words to describe how this video made me feel. All I know is I got the chills and I feel like crying. This is so good and the use of quotes was perfect and the order of the scenes related perfectly to the song lyrics. This was just perfect. that's all I can say.

While he's there, he's thinking about his old self (pre-serum) and just as an added extra they made the old Steve look at the present Steve. Hope this helps.
