For those who do not know, whenever a cardiac arrest call is entered into the 911 system at SMFR. A Medical supervisor or "EMS District Supervisor" is sent to the call to help with consoling family, CPR, using an AED, or using an ultrasound device. If a medical supervisor is not available a Battalion chief form that specific battalion (if available) will be sent as they also carry the same advanced ultrasound equipment to find movement in the heart.
Your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds keep them safe out there job well done you should be proud appreciate you guys thanks ! Joe
If anyone is from SMFR or knows about the structure of their response. I've got one question. Why do they respond code to everything? I can understand a structure fire, medical emergency, MVA with injuries,Wildland fire, police request. Around here in Montana we don't respond code to an incident unless we know there's either injuries or an active fire. If it's like a smoke investigation I could see that too. But for incidents such as a minor car accident with no injuries or a smoke alarm going off, is that just how SMFR operates? They are such a great department I love them. But I've also been told if everything is an emergency then a lot of things aren't a life threatening emergency. My question is that. Is this just how SMFR operates with responses or is it up to the chiefs and command personnel when they respond code vs non code.
@@Daniel-cw8lg I figured they were take home vehicles. I've just always wondered the reasoning behind unmarked fire vehicles. I've heard a lot of people say it so they aren't a target to thieves, yet, there are a lot of take home vehicles that are marked.
@@warhawk3136 At 0:41, that’s pretty much a copy of Federal Signals “blink” pattern. If you check out one of the light pattern showcase videos from Soundoff, you can tell that a lot of them are copies of Federal Signals
Hey folks! Check out the description for more details

I loved seeing IDT 11 running with an electric Q. A very underrated siren. It’s not heard much in New England.
I LOVE the cruise lights on the Bureau vehicle @9:23
Eric and his powercall lol
The thumbnail is awesome
Awesome compilation! Keep up the good work. 👍
Excellent collection of catches mate 🧑🏻👍🏻🚒
The command cars are very cool,. I love the duil sirens very much
Anyone know what type of sirens they use?
Nice catches and videos! Keep it up!!
Do you know when the next video from south metro is going up and do you know if pio10 is getting a new truck?
I’m not sure, and I’ve been told within the next year or two
Great video man! Do you know how many of each unit SMFR has in service? I’ve been looking but I can’t find a recent count
I believe it’s: 23 engines, 6 trucks, 19 medics, 5 battalion chiefs, 1 district chief, 2 safety officers, 1 ems supervisor.

Did PIO10 used to run medical calls as well? Or was he just running to those calls for one of their videos.
Nice video compilation!!
great catches! Love smfr
Any idea why Med 1 has red/white lights as opposed to the usual red/blue?
It’s a former littleton fire rescue unit, and they didn’t have any blues
@@natesiebert2840 Oh okay. Thanks!
5:29 the text says house fire but the dispatch said medical assist.
Yes, it was tones for a different call
@@natesiebert2840 oh
hey great video buddy suscribed
What are the unmarked tahoes?
The unmarked tahoes are chief vehicles, they have 5 of them.
@@E81_Photography ah ok
Great video!
Who are the all black Tahoe’s assigned to? Bureau?
Ops 1 and 10
@@natesiebert2840 Why are they unmarked?
@@nolanbrown6894 most likely take home vehicles for when they are off duty but on call so they can get to scenes

@Gregorio Cruz interesting, I didn't know there were studies about it. I'll have to check those out.
5 medical emergency’s in one video of SMFR
Any chance you know what siren the car at 06:50 and 07:25 is using?
That is a Powercall and sometimes they are combining it with the weird manual siren from the Whelen Carbide
@@chirpyr6219 I think that manual electronic q sounds goofy
Nice
Do you use a portable radio or scanner to listen
Anyone know what siren the unit has at 0:40, my police has it yet I can't find what it is anywhere.
sound off signal nergy
What does IDT mean in the IDT cars?
The description explains it all ;D
What was the all black Chevy tahoe
OPS 1 or OPS 10
What are the unmarked Black Tahoes?
Says in the caption ;)
Sound Off lighting is nice but the purple patterns kill it.
Soundoff be copying federal signals light patterns too

do you know what siren most SMFR command cars use?
Safeties and battalions use the Sound off NeRgY siren dual.
Why do i here 2 sirens coming from one car? (Edit: hi again it is me i have another’s question what is your favorite fire truck in smfr)
Because they run dual sirens
?
They can run dual sirens, meaning they can have 2 sirens at going at the same time
@@jasoncrawford532 thanks
When did you record this video
Over the course of about 8 months
I live in south metro
I was born in south metro
MY Favorite is the unmared tahoes
My favortie units are District 1 and Med 1 from station 34 one of my favorite stations
Bad drivers from what I can see. If you hear a siren, stop your vehicle immediately until they pass you.
