when I heard this song for the first time and realized what it was about, I immediately thought of homelander. It turns out that I wasn't the only one who came up with this idea.
@@edwardtdm123homelander the lyrics fit him “oh bad man what’s the reason why the innocents always have to die by your hand”homelander kills everyone who he disagrees with or who defies him on mood swings and cause he can.The lyrics “no i will never understand why these cowards bow to your demands”can be attributed to the fear and the amount of loyal followers and yes men homelander is surrounded by constantly. “You’re never gonna find redemption” homelander is far too gone like in all aspects.”Still searching for his own salvation” could describe homelander in the beginning of the show he seemed desperate for any approval and seemed to question himself his own morals and ideals for small lapses. “There’s no way that you can be forgiven” considering the horrific atrocities he has committed not many would forgive him
@@aj-taz_editing This also fits for Billy Butcher because as bad as he is as Homelander, he was his archenemy. There's lyrics here that fits him. "No, you didn't think that we are ready for war" was cleary if Homelander thinks that he's untouchable and unbeatable and no one can match his power, Billy proves that he was solely mistaken. "Then you questioned our determination" was how far Billy would willing to go so far and beyond just to take him down. "Take it back, man, 'cause were not dealing with your sh*t anymore" describes Butcher's absolute defiance on Homelander's tyrannical, authoritarian rule and also a sole reason why he opposed him. "You're about to have an education" is when it comes opposing Homelander, Butcher will show that he can be as just as brutal and monstrous as him. In his world, to fight a monster, you must become one yourself.
@@aj-taz_editing yeah that makes sense too. It fits both of them pretty well. But I assumed the song talks about why people follow bad men, like that scene when Butcher asks the people, "Where's your f*ckin rage? Your self respect?"
This song is fitting for this character and vice versa. Well-done 😎.
First time i heard it my mind went Immediately to homelander
@@aj-taz_editing My mind went to Disney villains, and I'm working on an edit for that right now lol.
Badass video. Perfect song choice for Homelander and kick ass editing. Keep up the good, strong work. 💪💪
I love that people still make AMVs Amazing work!
I didn't either, since we got like edits now, I thought people would stop with making AMV's

This song is perfect for Homelander.
💛
I feel this song fits Butcher than Homelander
I mean true but homelander is the one people follow like crazy even though he’s an irredeemable monster
