- In the previous chapter, Pakistan's cricket team faced a major setback in the World Test Championship against Australia.
The Pakistani team's attempts to neutralize their home pitches had backfired, leading to a historic victory for Australia and cornering King Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Ramiz tried to control the damage by claiming he never interfered with team selection and emphasizing the importance of making the captain strong. Despite his attempts, Pakistan's cricket team suffered losses, and Ramiz disappeared from the spotlight.
With each failure, Ramiz's position as chairman of the PCB grew more precarious, as he faced mounting criticism and a loss of support from players, media, and fans. The chapter ends with Ramiz's reputation in tatters, his future uncertain, and the fate of Pakistani cricket hanging in the balance.

I know this video is about criticizing PCB leadership, but credit has to be given to the Pakistani cricket team. With all the issues in the PCB and the conditions the PAK players play in, they have actually managed to beat some world class teams. And the achievement of reaching the Asia cup finals is no small feat, especially after thumping a cash rich team like India. All in all, Pakistan have a great squad, but lousy management.
Could agree more.. The team has incredible talent and that daredevil attitude.
Without any bias, it was just plain luck. India has reached knockouts in 90% of all icc tournaments in the last decade. If any team should be praised, it is Australia...none others.

It was very well researched & well made video, the only point you missed in it was that Ramiz raja had a very good relationship with Gen Bajwa & that's the reason he wasn't removed from the post. When gen bajwa completed his tenure, gvt kicked him out immediately.
Lets be honest because he was a Cricketer He was a good chairman for PCB. He really wanted to give everything. When He led the Board Pak made twice in the Final and once in the Semi Final. I know they did not win some trophies but the fact is, its like with India, reaching Final or Semi Final and win and lose there, you will still be considered as big side or favourite side. Its more about the own respect not the trophies. Obviously winning trophies is the biggest respect and award but you know what i mean!

Same can be said about India. How their 'winning at all costs' mentality in home tests (by preparing big turners at home) have backfired. Pujara, Rahane and Kohli have all averaged between 25-30 in the last 3 years and India hasn't groomed their replacements. With Ashwin and Jadeja doing double duty as batters and bowlers have worked at home but not in SENA (after Sep 2021). Plus, their batters not getting enough runs at home (on these big turners) has also affected their rhythm in SENA somewhat (not completely as Pujara never scored consistently in Eng, NZ, SA; Rahane never was consistent in Ind, Eng & NZ).

I think you have exaggerated many of the facts here under the Ramiz leadership Pakistan was able to defeat india twice in two years to reach the semi-final , final of the Asia cup, and the final of the t20 world cup . Literally the only thing u have over India is the 2017 win(everyone knows pak reached wt20 finals purely on the basis of luck, lost to Zimbabwe, lost to India but still got there cuz a bunch of matches got washed out due to rain, had u faced eng in semis, u wouldnt even have reached the finals)
The "worst" India has been in tournaments - I don't think u realise, reaching semi finals in 2016 wt20, 2019 wc, 2021 wt20 and reaching wtc finals twice isn't exactly bad performance by any standards(atleast we stood a chance at winning those tournaments and didn't get knocked out in league stage)

This is a poor video and it comes of as an insecure man making a video against a person with a personal vendetta. I understand there is animosity against Pakistani's from Indians but you fail to understand the situation that BCCI has created for PCB.
BCCI has in every situation refused to play Pakistan except when the BCCI can profit from it the most i.e ICC tournaments and hosting Asia Cup themselves, as they benefit the most from India vs Pakistan game coverage while PCB gets the same share as the likes of SA, Bang, SRL, WI and AFG from ICC tournaments. BCCI refuses to play Pakistan in all Bilateral series that might profit PCB so Ramiz Raja tried to introduce something where ECB, Cric Aus, BCCI and PCB could all profit from but this wishful thinking from Ramiz as BCCI will never accept this.
The BCCI will never accept anything that will profit PCB due to India's participation and but they ensure that they make as much money of the cash cow India vs Pakistan events in ICC tournaments. This has left PCB and the Pakistan public to see the BCCI as the big evil and its making it difficult for the PCB to do Business with the BCCI when they only care about a relationship that benefits them and them only. So the chairman is obviously going to blame to blame BCCI every opportunity he gets, the BCCI is participating in unfriendly business practices.

ICC is pretty strict about government intervention, Raja speaking out against ex PM Imran and trying to coax new PM, on live television was extremely risky for PCB.
Being an Indian it’s sad as an admission - but Team India unfortunately has seen its best days in the past - the current bunch for whatever reason lack the fire in the belly, the aggression and ofcourse the results speak for themselves- and the gall!!! … saying we can create 2 international teams when they get kicked in the ball by Nepal(no credit taken from their team)…. It’s fairly easy to say that Pakistan just on sheer talent produces more driven and solid results INSPITE of the penury for their board…. I never realised the level of the situation regarding Ramiz Raja in Pakistan, as an English cricket fan I was just excited for the test matches, but to see so much damage done to Pakistani cricket because of this idiot is sad, especially considering that from a cricket point of view the England tour of Pakistan was amazing, that matches were all extremely entertaining and the series was played in great spirits, the overall feeling in England after the tour was that it can't be 15+ years before we go back to such a beautiful country.
Hopefully for the sake of the game Pakistani cricket is able to turn itself around, world cricket needs more competition so we dont keep seeing the same 4 teams over and over!
