Deer Parks & Hunting in Medieval Scotland - Piers Dixon

Piers Dixon has had a long career as a field archaeologist, and is now recently retired. He has had an interest in the archaeological remains of deer hunting in Scotland - deer parks, hunting forests, hunting halls. In this talk he presents the historical background to deer hunting, supplemented by evidence from selected archaeological sites.
