South Mountains State Park was a great stay for us with some great hiking! The 7pm to 7am curfew was a little strange as we have never experienced anything like that. Have you ever stayed at a campground with a curfew where they lock the gates and don't give you access to enter and leave? Just curious.
@@zebmeat Yeah us too. We asked and they said if an emergency then we would have to see the camp host to let us out. Well there was no camp host lol So guess we would have had to call the ranger that lives there. Or bust through the gate LOL
@@AlliChuckAdventures We did! Sat on my butt and watched Christmas movies with my adult kids all weekend. Lisa took the reigns on the food end and I got all fat n sassy. Lol.
Glad you are helping me pick out spots to camp at when I retire. Hubby and I just purchased a pop-up in Oct this year. I will be 60 in Jan. Told him at 62, that's it. Do housework during the week then on the weekend, it's us to have relaxation.
How awesome! YES a pop-up would fit pretty much any site there at South Mountains and other than having a curfew LOL we LOVED that campground and the hiking there!
I could tell you guys were feeling the burn on that hike to the waterfall. Something about the cold makes hiking more difficult it seems to me. Good job !!

That park is beautiful. Did you have shore power at your site?
