I've been a Deion Sanders fan since his FSU days and continue to support him.

I like him too, just tired of his theatrics. Always been a believer in letting your play or coaching do the talking. Loved Nick Saban for that reason even though I also hated Alabama lol.
She completely missed the main thing while pointing out the main thing. 🤦🏻♂️ why do we have to speak child to women to get them to understand this stuff. He is saying a win is judged differently for Colorado because of his success. What he is viewed as in multiple facets of society. The other coaches cannot say that. Nick Saban maybe had an argument. However across all media, Prime is Prime. It wasnt just excellence on the field. The diamond. It was excellence to the level of Prime. In the age of Jordan. This man, became Prime. So not every eye is there for support. Many are there hoping for a downfall. Want to see him fail. Even at the expense of those kids.

Deion unfortunately can't be low key. That's what makes him such a target which makes it harder on him.
The mere fact that Deion Sanders - who has wanted to be an NCAA coach for the past 15+ years - is just now in his 2nd year at an FBS school lets you know that he's been subjected to a different coaching standard than his peers.
FBS is filled with coaches who've never reached the heights (playing-wise and/or coaching-wise) that Deion's reached.
So, to cover up the disparity *they told Deion he'd have to go to an HBCU* . Once he obliged those same aficionados said *he'd need to be über successful* . Once he accomplished that those same aficionados said *he'd need to have players with great academic achievement* . Once he accomplished that those same aficionados said he'd need to *rescue his college from the city's diminished infrastructure* (ie, water sourcing/distribution). And on & on the bar's been moved.
Now that he's moved into the FBS, his so-called stakeholders (ie, ESPN) are begrudgingly capitalizing on his every move. Thereby [lavishly] decrying the fact that: (i) he's a top-recruiter; and (ii) he's garnering top-ratings.
Hey, *Heather Dinich* , tell us which of the other FBS coaches have been lamented for not curing a city's diminished infrastructure. If you can find them then please double-back [to us] so that you can tell us which of the other FBS coaches have Deion Sanders' resumê.
Please Let Us Know the Double Standards that You've Covered.

Heather stop it. Texas is the most overrated program in the country. They only get recognized because of their boosters. Their Track & Field won more championships than their football team.
Their track and field team has won more National Championships than all but 5 football teams but only if you count men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor. It’s apples and oranges because football has one championship per year and track and field has four.
