      With climate change reshaping weather patterns, Chicago winters have been relatively mild for the last several years. Chicago rarely gets hit hard with snow anymore. Certainly a pittance compared to the east coast. And in terms of the cold, for example, only 1 or 2 games at home this year were super cold.

      Stanford was (1-11) in 2006 and had not been eligible for a bowl game since 2001. Harbaugh proceeded to go:

      @ Bro I’m just saying he’s my guy for any team, I threw Chi in there as an example. We all know Chi is going to hire another defensive minded coach because they still want to live in the past.

      @ I'm amazed how a guy with exactly 1 good season out of 10 as a head coach in both college and the NFL could be taken seriously as a head coaching candidate. He's been riding Patrick Mahomes' coattails for 6 years now.

      Lovie Smith took a team to a Super Bowl
      Bowl had a winning record over 9? Seasons…Compared to what we’ve had since , he looks like the reincarnation of 1940s George Halas. He couldn’t get the proper OC to run his offense , and ultimately was his undoing. Lovie and that team won division championships….Revisionist? 😂 Maybe that’s you

    thats his buddy.. so he has some bias..Bears fans dont want to see a rookie coach for at least the next 8 years. IF they are a rookie coach they are off the board. If they havent won a decent amount of game in the NFL, they are off the board. If they had teams that had bad olines for 3-4 years straight, they are off the board.. If they want more power than a HC would generally have they are off the board. If they cant provide an offense that works in the modern NFL they are off the board. If they have not called offensive plays, they are off the board... If they can not recognize what good Olineman look like they are off the board. Now.. a question for you all... who is left???
    Who Is Left?? Once we narrow this down according to this criteria, we have found the next Bears HC..

    You can't keep firing everyone every year. It seems as though the adults have assumed leadership roles again. One year, two years, even three years is not enough time for a bad football program to be turned around. Hopefully Jerrod Mayo lands on his feet. As for my Bears, hopefully we bring in Brian Flores.

    Vrabel doesn’t want to coach with that inept FO. Shaw shouldn’t want that either.
    Williams is NOT a leader like Luck or Nix was.

    Terrible take Rich, this guy's in game decisions were awful. Stuck in his ways too, had trouble adjusting to the new offenses that were coming along. His overall record at Stanford was great, but if you look year by year, it was a disaster.

    Bears fan here. If this is the hire that’s the last straw for me I’m out. I’m sure he’s a great man but no way is this a good nfl hire but it sounds great on tv and it checks off a skin color hire for all the media pundits to celebrate

    • @jamesbrown9676
      @jamesbrown9676 24 дні тому

      Wow… really showing your biases; fact is Shaw was a offensive coach in the NFL did a very good job with Sanford and like Rich said ,he WAS sought after by NFL teams, but took himself off the market for some years. If the Bears do hire him and you’re out, maybe the KKK will start a league for you and your friends to support wholeheartedly. Personally , I’m partial to Vrabel, but Shaw is not horrible, I’d think even if willing to be consultant, he could bring something to the table.
