With climate change reshaping weather patterns, Chicago winters have been relatively mild for the last several years. Chicago rarely gets hit hard with snow anymore. Certainly a pittance compared to the east coast. And in terms of the cold, for example, only 1 or 2 games at home this year were super cold. That said, obviously there are plenty of other cities with even milder winter weather. My only point is it's not as big of a factor here as it once was.

Terrible take Rich, this guy's in game decisions were awful. Stuck in his ways too, had trouble adjusting to the new offenses that were coming along. His overall record at Stanford was great, but if you look year by year, it was a disaster.

Wow… really showing your biases; fact is Shaw was a offensive coach in the NFL did a very good job with Sanford and like Rich said ,he WAS sought after by NFL teams, but took himself off the market for some years. If the Bears do hire him and you’re out, maybe the KKK will start a league for you and your friends to support wholeheartedly. Personally , I’m partial to Vrabel, but Shaw is not horrible, I’d think even if willing to be consultant, he could bring something to the table.
