One more trick to save fuel.. Buy used honda city with 10 lakh limit..very good unit will get with that amount.. Remaining 10 lakh put in fd.. With that interest put petrol.. This interest money is ur additional milage..every month u will receive 5k as interest.. If you travel 1000 km in a month.. U need 66LT with 15kmpl..44 LT u got from interest.. Remaining 22 LT from ur pocket.. Which translates to 45 milage.. With 2000 km per month the milage will come to 22 kmpl..
Kudos to Honda for offering a proper hybrid car at this price point thereby giving amazing fuel efficiency. And also the ADAS features are the icing on the cake❤❤❤❤

Idtec is giving mileage of 25kmpl. Petrol Hybrid gives mileage of 26.5 kmpl. If they price hybrid more than 3 lakhs above idtec, I don't think it would be a good deal considering it gives only 1 km additional mileage. Not to forget Petrol costs more than Diesel as well.
I am impressed by the smartness n idea they have put into which can become future to remove the lag what the battery cars have , they discharge after 200km or anything but when we use generator installed in car itself which regularly charges car while running using petrol so it must be a new innovation man I know what i wrote is all lot Confusing but finally i have got the solution to make battery car successful
Honda is not the first. The Diesel loco is using same principle for last 50 years. Although loco does not have a battery but it has generater which powers the motor.

No range on pure Ev, because the battery is charged while using petrol mode, and then after the battery is charged it will use the combination of that extra range along with Petrol, so total range is around 26km combined.
This Car can be a game changer for Honda IF and its a big if they are able to keep the price of the car on a lower end. Knowing Honda and how it likes to keep City at a premium compared to its rivals i have doubts about it but i really hope it does. 20L around on road price (Delhi) would be a good Price for this car i'd say

Ground clearance had been always an issue for Honda cars(City & Civic). These cars are good for highways but when it comes to driving in city, only one big speed breaker is enough to damage the body(when fully laden).
Honda engineers are amazing and their executives are dumb. This is one of the most carbon efficient cars next to EVs, low-powered CNG cars and best among the petrol. They could've easily sold this at or on par with Petrol variant's price by marketing mileage and carbon footprint. But no, Let's milk consumers and blame Govt taxation policies. I know few argue that tech and maintenance demands that price but I doubt that. It's easy to pass on the price to consumers and blame govt, especially when you have such a reputation for the CIty model.

At a price difference of about 6L on road in Bangalore, and an assumed mileage benefit of 6km a litre one has to drive 380,000 kms to recover the difference at current petrol prices, forget the cost of money. So sorry Honda this does not make sense :-)
The car actually does not unlock by itself.. The door handles have a touch sensor behind the handle so when you grab the handle the car senses and unlocks the car. Very genius. Also seen in ford, jeep cars

Auto pilot is way too advanced than adas. ADAS is just adaptive cruise control with some additional features. Tesla can do way more than that.
