I think it will help motivate voters who don't want Trump, but the big 4 national news providers, ABC. CBS, NBC and PBS, have mostly normalized and downplayed how dangerous the authoritarians and Trump are. The independent voters and the not really into politics voters don't spend much if any time following alternate news providers and publications.
And that is why the polling is so close and so frightening.
