Remind me of my game, I had a double horde night at day 14 (logged out too early), and for some reason I entered a town at day 16 shortly before night to do a quest, I even said "Yeah it's night time but this is still going to be easy" and the game just decided "Ohh yeah? Well fuck you!" and started spawning every kind of zombie imaginable around me till next morning. And I mean every kind (well except for demolishers), cops, Feral Wights, zombie bears, it was a literal nightmare. By next morning I ran out of ammo, health items, had multiple broken limbs, head injuries, my max health was like 40 and had 3 left, I mean it was probably the most excitement I ever had with this game, especially since it came out of nowhere.
That was perfect.
I feel like this series has the most fun horde nights.

@@deaddude432 yep,and also stupid but helpful tip,always buy cobblestone from traders its super cheap and you can smelt it in forge get crazy amount of stone or cement :)

In case you're curious, jen typically does have sugar butts in her vending and even inventory later with the bartering perks. I usually make a base in perishton, diresville, and one typically at the Oreally auto store down in the desert biomes in every playthrough I do. I usually have bases and horde bases separate but having one each at those places makes it so you can pretty much travel comfortably no matter if it's horde night or not.

Landmines spaced out in a straight line to steps and at the created entrance to the yard. Make sure they are far enough apart so they do not set off the rest of them
@Glock9 the steps idea would probably work a little bit better if you had a full block instead of stairs on the last bit. That would make them slow down by having to jump 1 block and would give your sledge turret time to knock them back off the top. As always loving the series great work. thanks :)

PSA, if you hold shift while clicking the item in the store's inventory, it defaults to 'max' instead of 'one,' allowing you to buy entire stacks a lot quicker.

Also If you make another Stair case up to your platform do a one Block to the side and place you Sledge Turret there. that way the Sledge knocks off the Zombies you don't kill. keeps them in a circle try to get to you.

after playing 7DTD for a few years, I wonder if TFP will add 'special infected' ala Left 4 Dead. Imagine, you're crawling through a large-ish POI and hear faint crying. You go up a stairwell and turn a corner just to be met face to face with a witch, a super tough zombie that hits like a truck, but only if you disturb them.

You should try the Romero mod there aren’t any hoards but you have to do head shots to kill them and you get massive roaming hordes of like 30 and they come op every 30 min and none of the zombies run but they stack up quick. If you don’t pay attention they will overwhelm you fast. It’s fun but it keeps you on your toes

Glock i would suggest the 'Better Book Icon' mod, it will have a green tick on the books you have read so you dont have to keep checking all the time, one of the handiest mods i use 😊

Okay crazy idea - not sure of it's feasability, but aiming through bars I've noticed a potential opportunity. Shotguns are more effective typically if the distance to the target is closer. Rhetorical question, do you do more damage in 7d2d with a shotgun if you kneel - closer - to what you're shooting at below you through the bars? 🤔
