    Thank you for the video! I just have one question. My previous bookkeeper transferred the total loan amount to the other income account using the general journal entry even though it was not forgiven in 2020. On August of this year, I got notified that my loan was partially forgiven. So now, I need to make the adjustment. What can I do??

      You would have to move it back to a loan for 2020 then in this year move only the forgiven part to other income

    How to record the 10K that needs to pay back to SBA in Quickbook?

      You would record the forgiveness piece, and the remaining $10k will just stay as a liability

    Hello sir, can you solve my problem, My question is there is 2 branch of same owner , A and B , expense of Branch A 20 dollar paid mistakenly by Branch B , then B transfer online to A branch 20 dollar. So please explain it and how we can record it in brief thanks I am waiting for it .

      Record it as a Due To on Branch B books and a Due From on Branch A books. Record the expense on Branch A. Then pay back Branch B from Branch A and record the check and deposit against the Due to/from accounts

    Applied for EIDG loan. SBA initially deposited 1k into business checking account. I'm assuming that's a grant. Right? Then 4 months later 25k were deposited into business checking account. How do I go about entering this in QuickBooks online. The initial amount (1k) received and then the rest? I'm still an amateur on qb online please provide step-by-step. Bank account is not linked. Thank you in advance!
