Sweet lineup of Locomotives on the opening train! What appears to have been a bulk tanker train but then the Hoppers and manifest! #L570 had great power too! Thanks for getting closer and sharing!!
The Canadian National train #L571 of 23 January 2025 had two BNSF engines and a Norfolk Southern engine leading two Canadiana National engines leading the train across the old former Illinois Central bridge over the frozen Cedar River in Cedar Falls, Iowa. You mentioned that people were snowmobiling on the frozen river. They must be confident that the ice is thick enough to do that. Canadian National train #L570 on 24 January 2025 looked good with the single BNSF engine leading three Canadian National engines into Waterloo, Iowa. The engineer gave you a horn salute. @thomasmackowiak Yep a great variety of power Thomas! I used to ride the frozen river. The trick is to keep your speed up. Not enough snow to ride around here now.
Good consists on the trains i really liked seeing the ex oakway sd60s thanks for braving the chill lol
@Railfan216 You're welcome Marty!
Your train engineers like and respect you, Red.
@@BDProtheroe Always nice getting horn salutes👍

@chuxproductions1090 You're welcome CHUX! Foreign power seems to come and go around here.
Great views Red. Drone sez........geese know better than to occupy my airspace. Nice contrast to see the frozen Cedar River.
Nice catches! I caught L571 in Cedar Falls today
@@centraliowarailproductions2810 Good deal👍
Yep plus Iowa Northern
Red I wouldn't be surprised if that was a group of coyotes you heard over in that wooded area.
@fredtrench5684 I'll bet they were. They have the craziest noise. Nothing like a normal dog.
