Same this is definitely my Game Of The Year for 2024. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth was awesome but I feel like I had more excitement for the new IP Stellar Blade. Black Myth Wukong will be definitely be a contender for Game Of The Year.

It’s bittersweet like leaving hometown and everyone you love when you know it’s going to be a very long time till you will be able to visit again and you’re watching everyone getting older which makes you realize that some day will be the last you’ll ever see them again. You’re so happy that you’ve been able to see them but so said to say goodbye. It feels like closing a very important chapter in life.
And yet the feelings the song portrays couldn’t be more different in the beginning and the end. In the beginning this song feels sad almost hopeless. Makes you feel like you’re the last hope of “humanity.” you are the one that can turn everything around. You’re the one that can bring back life into the streets. In the end however it signals the beginning of a new hope. Makes you remember everything you’ve went through up until that point. It’s a new start for the city. One that might finally bring peace.
Really nails that hopeless atmosphere. All the storied and abandoned buildings running through Xion, the quiet flash of sparks sprinkling through a slowly deteriorating 'once' city of hope. Feels like the type of music that would play through a cinematic cs as the world goes to hell around you.

Felt really good helping and completing every mission in xion, really was happy this is the last song that plays before doing the final mission made it worth while. To be honest I came for sekiro like combat and BOOTY BUTT STELLAR CHEEKS but wasn't expecting the soundtrack to pop the fuck off like that! THIS GAME HAS A CRUSH 40 MOMENT DURING ONE OF THE BOSS FIGHTS THAT JUST SLAPS.... why I love playing video games man I swear.
I just realized the game plays a slightly more ambient version of Xion 1 right before you go to leave for Spire 4; specifically the guitar has been omitted and soft piano keys are much more noticable, if there are any more variants in the soundtrack I hope they're all released in the official soundtrack this summer

After helping everyone in Xion & finally running off to Spire 4, the aftermath felt...Well, you know. After collecting all those hyper cells, seeing more newly woken people from the Cradle crowd the streets, and noticing the myriad of neon lights start to glow; returning from Spire 4 was different.
This song comes very close to rivaling Peaceful Sleep from Automata's soundtrack hell the whole Stellar Blade OST rivials Automata in some ways imo it's hard to get me emotional and this one does it, next to Atelier and Song of the Sirens
