This is an incredible track. I’m an acoustic engineer by trade. I’ve spent my entire life scrutinising production practices against the expected average listening environment. I sometimes loath how hyper critical of production I can be, but it comes with the field. Regardless of game OST purposes this is one of the most well organised and presented pieces of music I’ve ever heard. It bridges the grey area between technical perfection practices to record source sounds and to then present the sources in a damaged way that completely perfectly matches the creative intent of the song. The mix/& rec engineers have done an incredible job. It’s frankly outstanding how dense & developed this track sounds, whilst being broadly stripped back. Not one single element is out of place. Amazing work.

This has become one of my all time favorite games. What a rare gem amongst a field of horse manure. Fan service pays off. Stellar blade should be the bar on how to create female characters and make money.
I used to listen to shit like dearly beloved from KH, zelda, or final fantasy esque tracks back in high school. I dont know many VGM OSTs but i think Stellar Blade by far has the best one rn. These tracks just evoke emotions inside you like no other.

This game's ost still moves me. I sank 200+ hours in running around hacking sh*t, listen to the music while looking for nano suits. It's not my favorite game but the music here is everything. There were a lot of things in the game that kept it from be great. Hopefully they fix those flaws in part 2. A commendable effort by Shift Up. They just need to see past just giving us T&A. That part is buttoned down, but the gameplay needs some work.
If anyones looking for similar music listen to Bòa, an alt rock band from england famous for the song Duvet which was an anime op. This song and wasteland 2 instantly reminded me of them
As much as I loved hearing the first theme, I spent more time in Xion because of how hopeful this theme sounds. It was perfect, given Eve was able to retrieve that second hypercell for Xion, so positive vibes.
