    Watching you get lost in the canyons so often has convinced me to spec into Wilderness lore. Much appreciated.

    For anyone wondering, Caves of Qud plays really well on a controller! I play exclusively on SteamDeck and it is pretty comfy.

    I usually listen to the videos rather than watch them closely, so the desert combing and such is no problem for me.

    If you want to become friends with a specific faction, finding a book binder can be a big help - they'll very occasionally have quantum pages from the annuls of qud, which let you increase your rep with a faction of your choice. If you don't have a book binder at the stilt though it can be tough to find one, and you have to check back a lot of times until you find one.

    Fyi, there is always 100' of wire beneath the chest at the bottom of each rust well.

    funny cuz I always end up being friends with the robots. I usually make friends with the naphtali tribe first and their legendary chrome idols usually give rep with robots when you share a dram of oil with em. luck of the draw I guess.

    As a new player, a tutorial for the new ability UI would be nice. Every guide is old and I literally learned the old one on my 2nd day of playing and the next day it changed. I think I have it mostly figured out but it would not hurt to be sure I am not missing a key functionality. It Also seems every skill has a hotkey already binded so it asks whether yiu wanna rebind a skill even though you might not have even used the skill ever.

      right, I'll do a video on this, here's what I do:
      the items on the hotbar are given a hotkey in the numerical if you haven't assigned one (meaning if it's third from the left, the hotkey is 3, this is common for a lot of games)
      for things that are universal among all playthroughs (make camp, sprint, now recoil) you can set a keybind (ie, shift+C for make camp) and that way you can bump it to the bottom of your list and keep uncommon abilities on your hotbar but still use other abilities NOT on your hotbar without switching bars.

      Unbelievably worth it, in my 20+ years of gaming it’s easily top 5 games I’ve played

    why are you using fixit spray foam in joppa when you can just go over to argyve and pay him 5 drams to repair items

    • @BigSimple
      @BigSimple  10 місяців тому

      Because I always forget he can do that but it shouldn't matter too much fix it foam is pretty plentiful

    Sigh, rust should be limited to iron and steel items, or rust should be renamed. Bronze doesn't rust.
