WAHATIS PEAK Summit 2634 ft / We Finally Did It!

Wahatis Peak in the Saddle Mountains, was on our list of hikes for three years. I really liked this peak, despite all the hardware / towers crowning the summit. Wahatis Peak is the third-highest point on the vast mountain range. There’s a cemented sign atop the summit rocks that reads “Farmboy Racing,” I don’t know what it means. A beer bottle half-buried in cement stands next to the sign post. I found an obituary for a Richard P. Bryll. He worked as an agricultural mechanic for many years with a passion for farming. As a car enthusiast he founded Farmboy Racing. However, I'm uncertain if he has any connection to the sign on Wahatis Peak.
