Im a twist, fold over, and 3-1 shrink tubing with glue over it kinda guy unless really important then ill use unisulated butt connectors instead of twist and fold

@@Garageless Don't sell yourself short. Those are really cool and tail lights is definitely an area that needs some support on these cars. I slept on the Keith Goodyear lenses because I didn't even have a Fiero yet and didn't expect I would be able to get one anytime soon, then here I am just months after it is too late and I have an 88 GT with terrible tail lights, lol

@@Garageless Brake lights fail all of the time, bulbs go out, etc. Generally, the vehicle user is responsible for the vehicle being roadworthy and up to DMVS standards, hence the citations/tickets being written to the driver. You could always say they are for off road use only, for race application only, not DOT certified, and not intended for use on public roads and public highways. If you have time for it, can make it well worth your time and effort and want to do it I say go for it. I can tell you this project definitely sparked some thought for me. I have some cognitive issues so I will need to think about what I want to do for a really long time to make sure I don't do anything totally stupid, but my wheels are ever slowly turning, lol.
