This is my final entry for the WLW 2.0 Competition. This round, the theme was 'enemies to lovers; lovers to enemies'.
I picked option 2:
Choose an AU couple that hate each other and make them LOVE EACH OTHER.
I picked June and Serena from The Handmaid's Tale because I love the show and the respective characters. Both are incredibly strong and deeply flawed women and I am fascinated by their relationship on the show. I know this is a bit of a controversial pairing because their relationship is extremely toxic and abusive. I in no way endorse abusive relationships in real life, but these are fictional characters so please don't leave me hateful comments.

Thank you so much Sil. I have to admit that despite all the terribly monstrous things Serena has done throughout the show I still can't completely hate her. Especially when she shows her softer, vulnerable self to June. Like June says in the show, maybe in another life they might have even been colleagues. I just love the show and the complexity of June and Serena's characters. It's such an undervidded show so thought I'd show it some love.
Also I just wanted to say thank you so much for organising the contest. I really enjoyed being a part of it with so many other fantasticly talented editors. It really challenged my creativity. Also I just enjoyed seeing all the beautiful wlw vids everyone else created. You are such an amazing supporter of the wlw vidding community and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate all that you do for the community. ❤
