How so? You’re installing stick on fender flares basically. You can’t break that down any more than that it’s pretty straight forward

I would have liked to actually see you do one, but thanks. I at least amswered questions I had after reading the horrible directions. Big point should be made that you didnt use rubber liner at all, but still a little helpful after reading the threads.👍🏾

Help!!! do they go installed over existing stock fender??? also you just used double side 3m on top lining of flare?? would that mess up paint on car??

Yeah the get installed over the factory fender. The 3m on the top is to keep the fender flare snugged up to the body. They door bolt in on the under side to the existing factory holes. I added the 3m as an added measure to ensured they stayed. Also the 3m tape doesn’t do any harm to the factory paint it peels off and the you can use goo gone on the sticky residue if any is left behind.

Ok help!!! If I don’t buy extra 3m stuff does only the clips hold it on? The rubber stripping looks like it only adheres to the fender flare. I’ve read directions several times. Don’t wanna pay a shop $200 to install these.

So if the rubber only adheres to flares why does it tell you to not remove it until you have them in place. ?? Yeah I’m confused & there isn’t any other videos like this so far from all my searching.

What I did when I was installing the fender flares was I use the clips along the bottom of the fender. But prior to doing that I went to an auto store and got fender molding 3M adhesive. I got quarter inch in width, and applied that to the actual fender flare where that rubber would go. Essentially they say the clips will hold the fender flare to the fender. But I wanna do I’m sure it actually stayed to the fender and I did not use that rubber stripping that comes along with it. We have pressure washed the vehicle at a car wash several times and all the fender flares are still adhered to the fenders. Helpful Tip would be to use rubbing alcohol on the spot where the fender is going to touch with the 3M on to ensure it sticks firmly and will remove any chemicals on the paint

Well the clips are a pain! A few went in ok but some of the others what it’s hooking to on the car the car part seems too wide & clips not fitting good. Like I need to trim something! Guess I should of spent $200 for the shop to do it.

@@GriffinGypsyRanch they will seem like the don’t fit. I started At the top side of the wheel well and worked my way down that should make it a little easier you can also you can bend them a little more to make them tighter.
