When the rest of the state had stormy weather we found an oasis of calm warm weather for some glass off fishing.
Jigging and micro jigging for Australian Salmon - kahawai from the boat. One of the best ways to catch plenty of these fish.

Hey mate how do aus 'salmon' compare to kahawai? I dont mind kahawai smoked or pan fried if bled and cooked fairly soon after catching them. Im in Aus now and planning on trying to catch a few or your version
Pretty much the same man. Same family as ky. And yeah same, bleed take off dark meat and fry and they come up all good. Most ozzies turn their nose up at them but I like them 🤤
