Festool is not a hobby tool. But if one has a business asd had to make 30 custom chairs or windows.... I'm guessing that the Festool would save so much time. Bottom line is that people who have a business where they are always needing to do joinery, then the Festool pays for itself.

Domino wins, 1200 dollars not money to reject the decision, festool is very creative in everything.
While I agree it’s worth it for anyone running a woodworking business. I just wanted to highlight there are other ways of achieving joinery without spending thousands of dollars.
Some tool to get on the long run, but not when you're starting.
