I'm brand new to the game, 20 hrs in on survivor 1st playthrough, ran across your video looking for tweaks to my current build. I'm leaning into bleed with Ritualist, running Support Dog Handler for heals and aggro. Krell axe with Hypercharger mutator for more damage and Blood Jewel ring for overload and bleed on axe throw. Neck Coil for status effect damage and explosion on application of status. Shadow of Misery ring for +20% status dmg, Low Yield Recovery ring for heals, Stone of Malevolence for mod power gen (been experimenting with last two slots). Double Barrel with Kill Switch and Song of Eafir for big fuck off damage and some CC with slow. Merciless has Insulator for shield, I think I just didn't have a mutator equipped and it slotted in automatically but extra HP is good. Gonna mess with different ones later. I don't know how damage scaling works yet as difficulties go up, but so far it's making short work of most content. Any holes in the build that I should look to fill? I know handler will probably need to be swapped for something else, maybe medic or challenger.
I like this idea, but the new content introduced targets that dont bleed, and while miasma will deal with those, you lose damage in those zones which likely makes them more frustrating on apoc
@@Skillet45 - I just wonder if gunfire will use that design to mitigate condition damage, which is really strong in R2, in future content. Many of the current best builds are condition damage, and they're fun, but gunfire can't take all the fun away so I like that they instead tossed an idea in that causes players to think.
The absolute easiest way to make a status build that crushes for people who may not have all the trinkets is to use the Effluvium enhancer amulet. Acid dmg is increased by 20% and corrosive by 50% Ritualist prime, Challenge secondary. You can reliably have 6 separate stacks of acid/corrosion on any boss. 1) miassma 2)Fetid wounds on primary (i prefer sparkfire just for the extra burn dot). 3&4) huntress spear now does acid and corrosion when thrown and can stack with tainted blade for two dots for the price of one. 5&6 nebula/ and Miasma Open boss fight with miasma, then the spear, pop nebula mod, then swap to primary and pop fedid wounds. To be totally honest youll have so many massive green dots ticking away Miasma is almost Overkill. And you can replace Ahaene ring with a handful of options if you don't have it. Alumni ring or shadow of misery just to name a few. The ultimate Toxic Avenger build.
I replaced timekeeper's jewel with Band of the fanatic to squeeze out that extra 30% status effect damage at the cost, of 50% status effect duration Because ritualist has the main trait affliction, which when maxed out increases status, affect duration against enemies by 100%
I love the motif of your video and how you slowly explain each thing and how they come together. Good stuff, you got yourself a new sub, maybe we can collab together one day :D
Thanks so much, that's great feedback--I was worried that the explanation was too detailed and boring. Very interested in seeing what you're doing. Going to check out your channel now... :) EDIT: Subbed. Nice!
There are indeed. I'll can post them up on my Remnant wiki when I get a chance (NOTE: the wiki is far from finished, so please be patient :) ). skillet-remnant.wiki/index.php/Blood_Ritualist
OK, so here's a quick variant that has worked hilariously well for me. In The Dark Horizon DLC, you can have Spark craft Wired Inhibitor (ring). Swap that with your least favorite ring from the build and laugh at even the toughest boss as you SLOW it for the entire fight. It's beautiful!
🤔 very nice I did an early build few month ago with my dog an crossbow (the one who have projectile who bounce everywhere) Effective but with weakness. Now with you sharing i have to try with a mix of tour build. Very interesting! 👍🏾 You guys have some ideas
So far, I've played through The Awakened King but not yet played The Forgotten Kingdom (I own it, just haven't started it yet). I absolutely recommend The Awakened King. Plenty of new content and, if you're into the story, it definitely advances what's happening on Losomn. If you enjoyed the campaign, you'll almost certainly enjoy the DLC. Again, I haven't played The Forgotten Kingdom yet but I have yet to be disappointed by a Remnant DLC (this game or From the Ashes).
My amulet choice was between that and Ravager's. To make the decision, I tested Ravager's Mark, Abrasive Amulet, (and Death-Soaked Idol even though I wasn't going it). Abrasive was the worst of the three for damage inflicted by 1 magazine of ammo both when skills were popped and without using either skill. It may do more DPS (don't know, didn't test it for that), but this isn't a DPS build. It's a damage-per-bullet build designed to allow you to continue doing damage while accomplishing other things like healing, reloading, etc.
Point well taken. For those who don't know, you have to unlock its availability from Reggie by defeating any boss on Yaesha in Hardcore Mode. Hardcore is a one-life mode--the first time you die, that character and its inventory are gone forever. Maybe I need to make a video on surviving Hardcore mode...
there's people who just don't care about hardcore and you cant fault them for that. Most people wouldn't have that ring if they didn't have a friend to be their crutch and camp the crystal while they fight bosses
Just adopted this build. Thank you.
That's awesome! Glad it works for you. I've enjoyed it and still use it almost exclusively. Thanks for the comment, and enjoy the game! :)
Thank you Skrillex
Thanks on behalf of Skrillex! XD

I like using the Handler, especially for Boss Rush mode. Gonna have to try that build.

Yeah, it worked great for me playing through TAK, but you're right: there are some constructs in TFK that don't bleed.

That’s why we have loadouts. Switch builds to accommodate different situations.

That's a great substitution for sure.
also by reducing the status duration the damage stays the same, so you do the same damage in a shorter duration
Slow is an effect that can add damage

Tried to go for the Ahanae crystal. I died to a door slamming 💀
Noooooooooooooooooooo! Getting killed like that in HC is the worst. But you'll get it!
well... the vile perk is also a negative eff, i dont know if it counts, but vile is a negative eff
Any idea what pet build could pare with the rilualist I love having summoner or handlers but also want to try out ritualistic
Hmmm...I'll have to think about that. Good question.
are there any variations including items from the DLC content?

I just got the game . U recommend the dlc after I beat the main campaign?

Dlc are definetly worth it
That melee mutator does not appy bleeding
Good catch! You are correct, it does not apply it, it just does more damage to targets that already have it. Thanks! :)
They really need a new ring to replace ahane crystal like fr. Im sick of it being the only ring that does what it does.
Abrrasive stone is better for the amulet

There are some people who still don't have the Ahanae Crystal because of the get-good syndrome...

@@roncivay7863 I actually got it solo using the backup method. It's definitely doable, but you're right--not everyone cares to.
@Skillet45 I was mainly talking to the first guy lol but still my point. You cant back up save on xbox lol
@@roncivay7863 Oof--I'm a PC guy, so didn't think about that for console players.
