- Minecraft 1.21 looks to be the update with a brand new boss, finally. The recent 24w11a snapshot implemented a brand new weapon, among many other things. After that snapshot a new video dropped with even more info on the heavy core item, the mace, and a strange strange teaser. There is also some new minecraft bedrock hardcore mode news we take a look at too!!

If they add a boss, i hope they also give it the theme of life and souls like all the three other major bosses. IT WOULD probably be a fightig based hoss, as so far the warden is a avoiding boss, the dragon is fighting, and the wither is both

On a video from ItzJhief on the 22nd of December, the real Xilefian commented, mentioning how the frying table "was just a one of the code names for a Crafter prototype. It was also a reference to the developer who made that prototype. I think that comment is worth considering.

if they added another vault and boss, it would be cool if the structure was very vertical with steep drops so you could make effective use of the elyltra and mace
Remind you that these structures are midgame based. You can do that with just wind charges which I find it more interesting.
Remind you that if you get a heavy core from the boss than you will need to fight the boss before fighting it again with the mace

They might make it so that you can crouch right-click to switch modes on the wind charge “combat mode” and “locate mode” combat mode is the current function of the wind charge and locate mode leads you to a new structure where a boss drops a heavy core.
I think keeping that locate function to a new object similar to the eye of ender would be better (maybe wind charge + ender pearl)
Maybe the fire charge could bring you to a nether fortress
What if the entrance room is the entrance into a Boss Room not the whole Structure? Thats where we will find the New Boss that Drops the Heavy Core!

Btw for the supposed boss, it would be cool the axes and honeycomb found in the chests could be used against the boss, let’s say it’s a Copper golem-like boss and you can maybe honeycomb it to stun it?

Actually now that you said it actually makes a lot more sense that you have to go through a boss to get the heavy core and then get the mace. It feels like you just defeated a major boss and now you just got a major weapon or a major component for the weapon
Not to mention, the devs said that the trial chambers are inspired by dungeons in the Legend of Zelda, and in those games you typically get a new item after winning a boss fight.
It would be cool if they something similar to the Tempest Golem if they are actually going to add a new boss to this update, It already has a similar theme and color palette to the trial chamber, even the pattern on its shields is almost the same as one of the banner pattern we can find in the trial chamber.

If there was a new boss I would want it to be the redstone golem from Minecraft Dungeons.
I hope the new boss is a giant bug. More survival sandbox games need queen bees, and it’d finally give a use to bane of arthropods.
I think it would probably be some kind of golem boss. Like a trial guard.
The return and revenge of the copper golem. Instead of pushing random buttons, it pushes random places of a obsidian room (so the player can't scape)

Yeah I've heard about this because the developers have also said that the vaults and I believe the trial spawners were meant to be used for other structures as well. So it would make sense that you can keep the trial keys you don't have to use up all of them right away and some can be used in another structure

What if the boss is in the end? Shulkers levitate you and you have to drop on the boss with the mace to kill it.
1. Let us use heavy core to craft a copper golem since the trial ruin is mostly copper
2. There's a bug on bedrock (not sure about java rn) in the trial chamber, where if you break a pot from the trial chamber with a torch it drops the item in the pot without breaking the pot, so you can place the pot again to get more items. Infinite loot glitch for people who want emeralds and iron but don't know how to make the farms.

What if the boss drops the heavy core but its built around being fought with the mace, so the first time you fight it your at a disadvantage but once you have the mace it becomes a lot easier
7:30 I think that instead of you using the mace to kill the boss the boss actually tries to kill you with the mace and once you kill it it rewards you with a heavy core

I can picture it! You make a mace, you find a door where you have to drop down from a great height to open it, inside there is a boss, staircases to get up and damage the boss and a floor of water because you're not good at the mace yet! There are points on the boss where you have to drop down from a great height to damage the boss. When you get to the second phase, the water disappears, now you have to be good with the mace to damage the boss! When the boss dies, it drops. . . 100000000 XP I don't know, and the player is good at using the mace now! Also the boss should inflict mining fatigue until you kill it so you can't just mine the door to the boss. Any suggestions, guys?
you know what is a rare structure? the ancient city. You know where a boss fight could take place? in another dimension. But that's just a theory

what is you have to stack trial keys and then use it to open the portal in the ancient city then you would go to a boss realm. Therefore, that would be where you get the heavy core just a thought.

Sort of like how you use tridents for gaurdians and elder gaurdians, crossbows to raids, each new weapon has been used to fight a new difficult mob or challenge
I know it might not become true, or it might never come out. But If a boss comes out this update I really want the Redstone Golem from Minecraft Dungeons as a Boss
In a short they were counting the mobs and they counted the illusioner but none of the other "secret" mobs like the giant or the killer rabbit

Seems the Heavy Core should be in any new…or old structure but, shouldn’t necessarily need the key to get it. I like how the Wind Rod is the handle and you get that in the chambers and then you get the heavy core to complete it from maybe the deep dark or another brand new place.

I mean they could add a aether dimension like notch originally wanted to make, would have mobs that lunch you into the air like the breeze so would work well with the mace

While it's been in snapshots for a minute, the wind charge and getting blown around by the breeze are still new mechanics to the game, and they combine well with the mace.
We are still missing the 7th chamber from the structure files I believe, maybe it is yet to be added? What if it's like vertical somewhat like that skeleton zigzag one
Don't forget about the "cleaving" axe, the bow debuff, the crossbow buff, the wind charge that you need to make maximum use of the mace.
I feel like the name of the update would be called exploration and experimentation the exploration part is because of the trial chambers and such and the experimentation part is from the somewhat redstone heavy stuff like the auto crafter and the copper lightbulb

1day ago, minecraft posted in facebook social media a picture of default skin (forgot the name with just ridiculous amount of furnaces, i was trying if i could find even a single furnace that is maybe a frying table and different to other furnaces, but gave up. I was thinking it was also a teaser

I'm thinking the "frying tables" in the minecraft video were made made exactly the same way that Wattles made his version 🤔 They just look like an almost perfect reproduction, including the smoke and the black cross shape on the top.

Okay I played the latest snapshot and ironically I'm watchint this video just after finding the core in my survival world ,this is an old world so I travelled far in the never found a trial chamber I went through every one of those Vault Blocks (I had a lot of keys from when they had no use) but I didnt get the core ,and while looking for any more vault blocks I accidentally broke this copper block which revealed a copper door ,I broke the block above n entered nothing much just a 2 by 3 room with 1 bed and 1 chest but surprisingly the item I couldn't find thought the whole trail chamber I found in this chest
I doubt a boss will spawn from a trial spawner or vault at random. But based on how rare the heavy core is, I could definitely see it being a boss similar to the wither where you have to collect a rare ingredient in order to summon the boss.

I just played a trail chamber with two of my friends, and yes it is fun, but holy crap Boggs need to be toned down like a maximum of a few because they were terrifyingly horrible to fight

I'm gonna make a guess. Heavy GOLEM.
The copper golem (2021 mob vote), the tuff golem (2022 mob vote), and the copper electric chair were going to be added to 1.21. And dog beds (Minecraft feedback), and skeleton dogs (Minecraft feedback) are going to be added to 1.20.5 along with armadillos, wolf armor, and different dog species relative to biomes.
Honestly if there is a new boss coming over want it to be in the trial chambers to give it more of a use

I have a feeling that the boss will be some sort of mechanical copper boss, the reasoning behind this is obviously because the trial chamber is made out of coppper, but also because of the new bolt armor trim. A robot is made up of metal and bolts and maybe the core could be some sort of robot heart. Either way, I think we are gonna get some sort of boss.
Isn't the breeze the boss that they were talking about? Surely the wind charges are new combat mecanics? They literally let you jump into the air like a jet pack and coupled with the mace they are very OP. That is probably what they mean.
Finally a use for the dragon egg... A dragon omelet with the frying table
