Writing the dissertation for my masters, and your content is keeping me sane! I love being able to put your videos on while I work, feels like we're in it together
This video has motivated me to get back to caring for my plants. I’ve given them the least attention required to stay alive but they do deserve more. Love the long vids too
“….Cheer myself up by eating Cheese Its but I freaking ate them all last night when I got high.” 🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness, please stop talking negative to yourself -give your hands some love because you create so much beauty with them . Thanks for such a great vid!!!
I was wondering when you'd talk about adding Orchiata to your pon substrate! I've been watching and rewatching your no drainage videos (FASCINATING!!!!!) and am ready to experiment on some water props I've got going. Your advice to start on affordable plants like pothos is gold and that's exactly what I'm planning to do! I've also got a big Philo Brazil that I will take cuttings from to experiment! Your videos are everything...thank you for sharing with us your time, care, and skills. I appreciate you! Also, PSA...I found a pack a 10 pack of ear spoons on Amazon for less than you'd pay for a nail kit or ear wax removal kit. Search for "ear spoon" and you'll find it.
Watching the scraping off of grime off a plant, chonk included….SO SATISFYING 🙌🏾 I normally do that with my fingernail, but I need a little scraper in my life 😆 Enjoyed the 2.5 hrs as per usual….until next week for part deux ✌🏾🌱🌱🌿
Holy crap I just accomplished so much watching this video thank you for making me a more productive human🎉also please give us some updates on how the acclimation in pon is going! 🥰 I’m getting my first ever import next week and I was thinking of using pon/perlite as well Also that image of pudge creeping through the crack in the door lives in my head rent free now what a bean plz don’t lock him out it’s too heart breaking bring on the sn0res
1:15:00 in Arabic, we have a term called ‘gizgiza’ and it’s also like when you find something so cute you want to squish it 🤣 I don’t really know how to describe it in english
I know this is old but I listen to your videos on auto play while doing plant and house chores. BPD is not an abbreviation for Bipolar Disorder. BPD is the abbreviation for Borderline Personality Disorder. I have both and it can be really confusing for others when Bipolar Disorder is abbreviated as bpd bc that’s incorrect. Bipolar Disorder(BD) and Borderline Personality Disorder(BPD) can have similar characteristics and often overlapping symptoms.
Yay new video! I'm actually watching this twice 🤣 First time was while I was doing my own planty chores, and then now the second time because I felt like I missed too much 💕 Getting my first ever import soon and I love absorbing all of the info I can on how best to acclimate Edit to add: I have my cebu climbing up one of those D-shaped poles that you and Alice made, and my gosh it is soooo easy. I never even had to use velcro tape or plastic straps - it climbed instantly
Woah! Those monstera's really do have unique looking leaves! I LOVE the shape of the one in the cracked pot! The leaves seem a bit more narrow and the fenestrations are SUPER symmetric! 💚
I started to use Orchiata because of you and Alice! I absolutely love it! All the orchid bark I could find locally was always way too big and molded easily. A couple bags even came full of mold/mildew. I started to cut orchid bark down in size but it took way too long and it messed with my already-inflamed joints. After hearing you and Alice talk about orchiata and seeing how it looked, I decided I should try it. I'm never going back to huge chunks of orchid bark. It's absolutely perfect and I'm about to buy my second bag!
Hey, I was wondering can you do a video doing a step by step of importing plants. If you need papers to ship them to USA, what do you do after and so on…🙏🏽🙏🏽
"I was gonna eat some cheez-its to cheer myself up; but i ate them all last night when i got high" Holy shit i can relate 😂 I am notorious for knocking all of my hoyas new leaves off and it royally pisses me off. Last fall i turned the fan on and the fucking new leaves just blew away. Like can you not please? I also have 0 luck propagating hoyas so one of my pubicalyx is just sticks with leaves at the base 😂 As far as mental issues go; i was recently diagnosed with autism as a 25 year old lady. Some times getting a diagnosis just takes the edge off.
last comment! but i wanted to saay..get rid of the worst monstera cause you will neever truly get rid of thrips on it, it helped me alot to cut down and get rid of the worst ones.
I get imports from tropicals pretty regularly (and we have been having tropical shows locally with my friend being one of the reps in San Diego). There are night and day differences from Ecuagenera (even though Ecuagenera has much more variety) often times Tropicals stuff will just need acclimating and not full rehab from a chonk. I’ve found that some stuff roots up in the coco/sphag medium after phyto and during transport, sometimes I get great roots with 2 plants like you did, sometimes I get no roots and a chonk, a couple of times I’ve even got thrips, I know they do what they can but it happens. I’ll always purchase from them though because the plants overall seem healthier.
Whoa! 🤩Ive never gotten imports that look anywhere near that good! Ive only ordered from ecuaganera and I luv them but I'm thinking I need to try ecuaflora after seeing what u, Jing, and Alice got. 🥰 Dayuuuuum!!!! That serpens🐍 is Ridiculously Stunning!!
woww they're all in amazing shape, that serpens is gorge! I just did an equalfora import too (probably the same wave, but to Toronto) and the health/size of the plants was amazing as well. The strange unidentifiable husk substrate seems to have worked ahaha
@@BubbleGumPlant Shipping and handling to Toronto (including phytosanitary certificate) was $4.25 USD per plant, then I paid for Plantrunz delivery to doorstep for $34 CAD (they partner with Equaflora for Southern Ontario deliveries). Overall definitely worth it since the rare plants are way cheaper than anywhere you'd find them in Canada. Highly recommend!
Omg I'm in process of making my ecuflora haul video, I got the regular serpens..totally did not expect the size of it!! Also the pastazanum was huge too, I had to get it on a pole!
The shot at 1:39:36 of you saying ”everyone is pretty much okay” and Pudge’s face at the bottom like ”I’m not”. Btw do you have any advice on packaging/preparing plants for a move to minimize chock?
Love this video! Was wondering what kind of plastic you used as the moss pole for the chiapense :) thank you and please keep making relaxing content like this
Hi Charmaine🙋🏻♀️ I’ve been considering importing philodendron this spring and your video is so details and informative 😃 lost track on the days in your video 👉🏽 How long did you put the import in water? And normally how long would you remove it from the prop box? Thanks!
Question about acclimating! So, I've been taking notes for when my first import order arrives soon :) After you potted them up in pon to acclimate, you mentioned putting them back into the bungee cord bin, right? At what point do you consider them ready for moving out of that high humidity environment and into a regular greenhouse cabinet? And do you keep the grow light diffused during this time? Thank you 🙌❤💕
I think the monstera at 1:05:33 might actually be a different form? The leaf shape isn't something I've seen before. Even if it isn't though, it's so beautiful.
How long did they ship your order after your purchase? And what courier do they used? I’m about to place an order from them and this is my first time.. thank you 🙏🏼
Love these videos! How does it work exactly to order from tropicals plants?? I tried to email but the response was in very broken english, I couldn't understand. When I checkout, it says the shipping is free...Is that normal or do I need to pay for fees after? And do you pick up at a location or is it delivered to our house? Thank you!
I know this is an older video but if your psych was thinking of testing you for borderline, then consider getting tested for autism. BPD is mostly misdiagnosed in women that have Autism because of old diagnostic criteria ❤ Edit: it seems I also got confused if you meant BPD or Bipolar 😅
I feel like a day late and a dollar short here lol, I love serpens too! I don’t think I can share a photo here but maybe I’ll DM you on Instagram so you can see how I grow them bc you totally have the right idea with moss and you’ll have a bushy plant in no time. I use moss on top of my substrate and let my serpens grow down into the medium. The moss makes them super happy and it will shoot growth out everywhere from under the moss.
i follow you on instagram, and i get really excited to watch the latest video when i see it on your story, but even when i search your name on yt, your latest video never comes up. idk why
I love how most of your dishwashing is plant care items, you rock little lady!
Writing the dissertation for my masters, and your content is keeping me sane! I love being able to put your videos on while I work, feels like we're in it together
I'm loving these long format vids.
Also your microfiber cloth is the cutest thing and I can't believe I just said that.
This video has motivated me to get back to caring for my plants. I’ve given them the least attention required to stay alive but they do deserve more. Love the long vids too
I died when you were said you already ate all your cheese it’s 🙃😂💚 literally a whole mood
I’m just rewatching this again, you and Alice should do a video of the updates from your imports with Jing too. ❤️❤️❤️ 🌱🌱🌱
Love your guys videos
“….Cheer myself up by eating Cheese Its but I freaking ate them all last night when I got high.” 🤣🤣🤣 In all seriousness, please stop talking negative to yourself -give your hands some love because you create so much beauty with them . Thanks for such a great vid!!!
This was AWESOME! We got it all Import, cleanup and repot so relaxing to watch💚
I missed the long videos. Thanks for all the effort it takes to do them. Never considered importing but wow that’s a nice haul for all of you.

Your face is beautiful so let it shine though...and the work u do with your plants are amazing ❤️. blessings

Oh! That's exactly my problem too, will give it a try 👍
Wow all the imports look really good! They are such a good size too! Can’t wait to see how they do a few weeks from now.
Hey, I was wondering can you do a video doing a step by step of importing plants. If you need papers to ship them to USA, what do you do after and so on…🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yeah Char keeping me company while I do a ton of much needed plant chores. Congrats on having another niece or nephew.
Watching here support your channel from Phillipines Injoy you life
Love the videos!!!! I love the cleaning the chonk montage!!!!

Yaaay 😍🤩😍 another long video! I love it, and it actually helps me stay productive with my own plants while I’m watching 🪴😍😍
last comment! but i wanted to saay..get rid of the worst monstera cause you will neever truly get rid of thrips on it, it helped me alot to cut down and get rid of the worst ones.
I was literally thinking “damn, I wish I could deep squat like that”, and then Jing said what I was thinking 🤣
Yes on the climbing begonia tree 😻✨

Thank you for a great video. It helped me with cutting up my heirloom carnosa. So sad she was beautiful but suffering from either wet or dry rot
This was very relaxing to watch! Thank you :)
I say put the begonia in a pole. The way it’s leaning it like it will either break off or tip over and then break off. I’d be nervous for it.
woww they're all in amazing shape, that serpens is gorge! I just did an equalfora import too (probably the same wave, but to Toronto) and the health/size of the plants was amazing as well. The strange unidentifiable husk substrate seems to have worked ahaha
Never ordered from them before. How much was shipping to Toronto and how long did it take? Trying to plan for a birthday present next month.

jing's pulls omg

The condition of these imports is so impressive! Did you just order on the website or did you speak to the sellers directly?
Do you ever set alarms for yourself for appointments? It can be really helpful!
I do! Except I have ADHD so sometimes a few appointments slip through the crack 😆
One day you'll give in to us and give us that 3hr long video XD One day...I can only hope lol
came here to say i’ve never related to something more than you eating all your cheezeits that night😂😭💀
I forget what you use for thrips-the spray. I’m getting systemic next month but I want to get the spray too.

Hi Hannah! You can find the plastic I use linked in the description of the bio. It’s under my Amazon pages in the “lazy pole” section! 💘

Damn now I want Cheezits. 👀
if you survive thrips and still love plants after then your a real plant lover hah
The best GLORIOSUM for me is Gloriosum Radiante in mature form super WOW.

Where did you get your strainers? I checked in Amazon and can’t find one.
My cebu is about 2 ft fall up a pole and I'm not seeing any REAL size ups yet. But who knows
I thought ecuagenera is tropicalsplants? What is equaflora?
I really like long videos also.
no drainage, you brave hah
