Hi there, yes that's correct. It was a few months ago. I wanted to that even with things like a refueling stop, Sri Lankan Airlines are fantastic and so worth travelling in.
      Thanks for your comment!

Hi, nice video. I'm about to travel business class on Sri Lankan Airlines with an infant on the same Airbus travelling from Colombo to Sydney.
I have a question. My son will be 8 months plus when we travel. Would you suggest a bassinet seat (if it's available). Any idea on how big it was?

      Hi Angeline,
How exciting that you are flying Sri Lankan airlines business class!
The flight attendants are fantastic and you and your son will be looked after well.
Bassinets as far as I know are not available in Business Class on the A330-300 aircraft type.
They are definitely available in Economy as I reserved one for Ava on a previous flight (however she did not even use it). You can reserve one but it is not guaranteed.
I found in Business class with an infant if you can reserve seat 1A or 1K they have that extra space in front of the seat as shown in my video.
Also, the seats are large enough that you and your son will be able to sleep next to each other.
Here is the link to my other video which shows the infant nappy change kit and what's included:

Will they fly on time? Cheers mate

Thanks for your question. I have done 10 flights with them in past 8 months and only 1 flight (from Colombo to Melbourne) was delayed by 1 hour and they made numerous announcements. The other 9 flights departed on time which is great.

Oh thanks for your reply. As I am boarding cruise on the same day from London, so if there is any delay will totally ruin my trip. That's all

@@timothyscott1803 I've never been on a cruise and would love to go one day! Such an exciting trip! Is there a way you can go the day before instead? Just giving yourself that extra time to relax...

My sister and I have debated the value in flying with our children in business class, we are frequent flyers, that are split over this issue, I believe it begets entitlement she disagrees. I think if our progeny don't have our successes, and they have to fly like the other 90% of travelers, getting used to such creature comforts so early may be disadvantageous. After the age of twelve my 2 fly in economy. Next year in Australia the federal government in bringing in 682,000 migrants our usual intake is 187,000. Why because the the high school and university grads just don't want to work, and the PM is upfront about it. There here to work, just imagine this pressure on the housing market next year, I say entitled kids again sis does not agree. Good video nevertheless.

      Hi @timothymacintyre9271
Thank you for such an in depth reply. I agree this is definitely a topic for discussion. However, I see it slightly differently again.
I am a Flight Attendant so on one hand I am the service provider, the frontline staff who looks after passengers in all classes.
Then with my business I am a Frequent Flyer (elite status).
I fly by myself and with my daughter in economy and business class.
I love that I can share these experiences with her because I am not only teaching her about travel, different cultures, languages and different ways that people live but more importantly, I am showing her how to be kind, caring and respectful no matter who the person is.
She is learning to treat Flight Attendants for example with respect, to learn patience, to wait her turn.
      She is learning compassion.
And most of all, I am showing her that we are in the end all the same.
There is no sense of entitlement.
Entitlement only develops when we are shown by our parents/peers/others that we are better than someone else.
I love that I get to show her both sides of travel, looking after others as well as being looked after.
Thanks again for adding such value to this conversation.
