Looks great I had my extension done with GRP and it puddles all along the drip edge.. not massively but it’s unsightly. Could this be used like a screed to fill the puddles? Or is there a product out there for this? Thanks!
I would never put a coating over OSB. It tends to absorb the coating, swell, and deteriorate. Exterior grade 5/8 plywood works best and is probably what the coating manufacturer recommends.
I disagree, The fact that the coating will absorb into the OSB is going to help with the bond. This is recommended by the manufacturer of this product and this is what we have been doing for many years and we have never had a fail so far.
@@125ordie2 usually a coating like the one mentioned is being applied to a deck . That said decks are usually outside. However if the coating is being applied over a heated space. Ventilation would be recommended.
Decided to use this on some chimney caps ass access was very difficult. I’m felt roofer this 40years and just wanted to see if this worked…. Worked for 1 year and eventually let water in again. Temporary job
Nice! Waterproofings are very interesting. There are many different ways to get them done. Just completed mine. After this video, feel free to take a look. Thanks for sharing.

@@dublinprotectivecoatings That's fine. I won't use it over OSB though. I only apply it over exterior grade plywood, minimum half inch.
I dont see much mentioning of ventilation. Would you ventilate your exterior plywood roof?

@@dublinprotectivecoatings The use of OSB is because it is cheap .It has no place on a roof
