This is my first time here and I have to say this was incredibly refreshing. So many reletable topics , I espically relate to the idea of mindset for artists. The end goal for me would be just realasing msuic I like and am proud of. At times that has hindered me as well as helped me ( No pressure when you aren't trying to make money from it ) but there are those days (Off days) where motivation might of been lacking. I try to keep it simple, learn someting new every day. Does not matter what it is, an intro to a song, a new scale, a new tunning, anything, just as long as it is something new. That keeps the passion alive for me, I will always love music, we all do, but loving soemthing and putting thought into action can be an obstacle, especially when you are juggling life. I think as long as you make it a priotirty, regadless of your motviation, and are dedicated to progressing you will get the resuts you want. I hit lots of playing roadbloacks through out my life, some have kept me stagnant than others, following this routine I found that I have progressed more in 2 years than I have in the past 10. Great epsiode! Will be tuinning in.
Thanks for tuning in! I appreciate you sharing your insight as well. It’s definitely tough to keep inspiration alive but the point is to keep it alive by all means. Never wait for it to come to you. Thanks again for watching!
Longate is top notch great stuff! Anyone know what pickups Alex put in his legator in place of the stock white moderns it had? I have the same guitar just curious if he just did it for color aesthetic or if it's not moderns anymore.
Baltimore Baby!!
Thank you for representing bro
Another great episode in the books! Alex seems like a cool dude! Can’t wait to hear your collab
Totally love his riffs
2 of my favourite musicians talking with such humility and passion is a real pleasure to see. Sincerely hope that you guys get some songs together!
Great interview man! I've been looking for some Alex Cooke interviews after burning through every Plini interview that exists lol
